No INDIGENOUS met with pope Francis toady. Delegates representing the Inuit and Metis did and THEY are in no way Indigenous. The Metis did not even exist in Canada until the 16th century and are really no different than the birth children of and irishman and a west african woman, simply mixed birthrite. The Inuit on the otherhand are indigenous to Russia and Alaska, and simply began migrating across the Canadian north just before the Vikings landed in Newfoundland.

Just wandering if these delegates visiting the pope travelled to Rome at their own expense or are the Canadian tax payers picking up the tab for this junket.
