    1. @David C there were several non-Scandinavian countries on the list and South America isn’t a country.

    2. @Green Macaroni and you know what is crazy? Those countries take in large amounts of money from the US. So still! Which countries provide their own, without the help of others?

    3. @Green Macaroni and like I said before! None of those countries are the size of the United States. But what’s crazy is food and living should outweigh your source for Medicare. But the US has an obesity problem. Maybe if everyone ate healthy and did healthy exercises, we wouldn’t have a mass healthcare need. Just saying.

    4. @Zike Miller Why would you say that? The whole concept of communism is a relatively recent idea in terms of centuries of world history?

    1. @M Hall If we live long enough one day we might hear an honest word from ConOld tRump.
      Nah. Probably not.

  1. Dems should have been mentoring younger politicians in the party for decades. But the majority found their power and refused to let go and pass the torch. Now they’re all unable to respond effectively to the moment. It is so frustrating. We want someone to stand up and fight right now, not just tell us al to vote next time.

    1. I have Biden remorse and have change my party to become an independent…I don’t think I’ll ever vote do another democrat

    2. @Kerline Senat she’s brought over 900 bills to the floor, 118 have been passed, and 24 were passed in the Senate and became law.

  2. I wish media would do more to highlight and attack corruption in politics (Joe Manchin) but the big networks/legacy operations seem to have a soft spot for corporate power

    1. @ALLisOn e lefties, who says that besides eastern European former communist? Thats particularly a non American pejorative . You foreign trolls must get paid by the responses and the likes?

  3. I hope Biden is challenged in the primary.
    We need a leader.
We need someone with a vision for this country.
Who can articulate that vision, and gather support for it.
I know, I described FDR, or TR, or JFK.
Does the Democratic Party have someone of that capacity in the wings??
    I sure hope so.

    1. @Jamtommy, I would vote for Pocahontas in a HEARTBEAT. She has a plan for everything and more energy than most of those other “do nothings”. Did you see her running to catch a plane? Strong woman!

    2. @Steve Harding Disagree. I liked Bernie. I supported him. He could identify a problem, and the solution.
But, he was a very poor politician. He does not have the ability to get others to vote for his bills.
Sanders could never get a program passed.
He would have shaken things up. That is about all.
TR, FDR, and JFK, knew how to play the political game to get their programs passed. FDR was the best at that.
Biden is poor at it. Bernie would have been worse.
AOC could get there, someday. I want to see her author some bills, and get them passed.
When she can do that, then she might be the leader we need.

    1. I agree. Force retirement from any government employment at age 68. If they all still want to work, they may work in the private market. Get anyone 68 or older out of any job for state or federal government.

    2. @Lisa Davis We don’t have to work robots can do it instead, it’s stupidity to work for your own state.

  4. They’ve done nothing, and I have a bad feeling that they just want this to quietly go away with them continuing to do nothing. They have to deliver but I am afraid that they won’t. This is going to have some very bad downstream effects because we know where the republican party is going to take us, they have outlined it.

    1. Many Americans need to take a civics class. The president doesn’t make laws.
24/7 cable news has also made people forget that it’s the state and local governments that were always supposed to make the rules and regulations for the individual citizens, not the Federal government.
Quit obsessing over National politics and focus on your state and local elections.

  5. To this point—I can’t believe that DeJoy is still at the USPS as the midterms are quickly approaching.

    1. @Karin O I thought Biden was in a position to nominate enough new people for a controlling majority.

  6. The people feel the same frustration. We don’t want to keep giving dems who won’t fight for us our votes. No more. They need to either start fighting or start planning to lose

  7. We need young representatives like Katie Porter, Eric Swalwell, AOC, Val Demings and Joaquin Castro to take the helm, and to be led by a senior statesmen like Sheldon Whitehouse, who isn’t afraid to stand up against power and calls it like it is. And bring back senior statesmen Senator Al Franken, who knows how to punch back and negotiate!

  8. You want dems to fight, you need more progressives in there, not corporate dems as they will act based on their donors. I feel like Biden has just been letting things happen by his inaction on important issues.

  9. “I shall not seek, and I will not accept, the nomination of my party for another term as your president.” – Lyndon Johnson.

    1. We can only hope. “I shall not seek, and I will not accept, the nomination of my party for another term as your president.” – Joe Biden

    2. And he was competent and could speak in coherent sentences. Unlike that demented crypt keeper that’s in office now.

  10. I’m sure this person or persons have been in touch with Kristen Sienma, or Joe Manchin to find out why they’re voting against their party. It makes it kind of hard to get your agenda passed if you can’t get members lined up to vote for it

    1. @marielucas I can’t read whatever that language your putting out there. Go get your ged and comeback to see me.

  11. I am a life long Democrat and feel that we have the wrong team in charge. This makes me so sad and frustrated.

  12. Imagine waiting until your house was on fire to actually make a plan for how to save a burning house. That’s where we are.
