    1. @Maria Please, Russia invaded sovereign Ukrainian territory in 2014. Now they support separatists in Eastern Ukraine.

    2. @Raptor1992 Crimea became sovereign Ukrainian territory in 1954, by the hand of Nikita Khrushchev, for various geopolitical reasons,
but since 18th century it was a Russian land,
      so stfu

    3. @Maria if Russia doesn’t want any problems they better not invade sovereign countries, you thinks they gonna stop at Ukraine?

  1. Canada doesn’t need enemies over there , what ever happens over there is not this country’s business .

  2. RUSSIA UKRAINE CANADA ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ no one wants war. Only those who are making money out of it. PEACE.

  3. The Ukrainian side is ultra-controversial because of issues like Azov, and siding with Russia would be geopolitical suicide, so Canada should stay out of it and focus on the domestic front

    1. Canada sticking to Canada is exactly why we have a useless military, lag in foreign aid and are laughed at around the world. We need to actually do something if Russia invades it won’t be suicide for Canada one bit. But Trudeau is weak and nothing but a 3rd rate leader.

  4. Canada needs an adult in the the leadership. Canada is a dwart on world stage, so Canada just look silly in making noise.

  5. Canada can’t pay its NATO share. So I don’t think our troops have Ottawa’s support. The Russians aren’t a push over. Just like in Afghanistan fighting in someone else’s war. We should be pushing for a peaceful solution.

    1. Our Troops don’t have Ottawa support?// What are you talking about, What it boils down to is the Politicians do not invest financially in either Military or Healthcare because we all get pissed off when asked to pay for it… So who really is not in support?

    2. @Aleaya Wijaya Actually the budget for the Military has been increased since Liberals took office. I know that is shocking to hear, but it is true.

    3. @William Rathwell Canada is pushing for peaceful solution, that is one of the reason, Canada isn’t sending weapons….even though everyone keeps pushing them to do so. Weapons should be the last thing…..!!!!

    1. It’s a NATO commitment…we’ve been PART of NATO for a while now. (1949)…unless you think Canada should go it ALONE in the world, without her allies.

…and PEACEFUL countries don’t test defoliants for the American Army, for use during the Vietnam War or test hallucinogens on our soldiers, for the CIA.🤔

  6. Canada doesn’t need to worry, they have the USA to protect them, and American taxpayers to pay for it.

    1. Shush! We don’t talk about that here we prefer to brag about heath care sure we can’t get a surgery 2 years in to the pandemic still but Americans need a credit card to go to the hospital so we are way better.

    2. @Colin Johnston …so you know, it’s U.S law for employers to provide health insurance to full time employees.

  7. We can’t not have a war, eh? Afghanistan was abandoned, at least we dragged it out pointlessly, so the enemy suffered.
If Canadians don’t feel represented in their government they’ll feel abandoned too
