The Ukrainian side is ultra-controversial because of issues like Azov, and siding with Russia would be geopolitical suicide, so Canada should stay out of it and focus on the domestic front
Canada sticking to Canada is exactly why we have a useless military, lag in foreign aid and are laughed at around the world. We need to actually do something if Russia invades it won’t be suicide for Canada one bit. But Trudeau is weak and nothing but a 3rd rate leader.

Canada can’t pay its NATO share. So I don’t think our troops have Ottawa’s support. The Russians aren’t a push over. Just like in Afghanistan fighting in someone else’s war. We should be pushing for a peaceful solution.
