  2. Pence would rather make money writing about his experience in the White House but not speak on it in a court of law, until forced.

  3. When you want to lead
You must beCourageous honest, Truthful. And Sincere
Sadly Pence has shown.. He lacks these qualities

  4. We are fed up with the « presidential executive privilege ». These crooks can do anything they want including illegal things.

    1. @Dan Marino smith is too smart to stick around that mad house too long…..he’ll be gone faster than a bat outta hell, when he is done!

    1. @watchin’ it best economy in 40 years for starters. No foreign aid to countries that hate us. And no falling off bicycles.

  5. It’s about time. Pence is sad thing. If he had just stood up to Trump on 1/6 and after he’d be a national hero. Instead he has chosen to grovel at Trump’s feet like other republicans.

  6. Hundreds of thousands have died defending the country for 250 years, trying to get Pence to show up to testify shouldn’t be so difficult. He should’ve volunteered not be forced to do his duty.

    1. Agreed. The soldiers storming Utah beach did not get a subpoena, did not seek to wiggle out of it. Like the VP, they had taken an oath to defend the Constitution.

    1. Actually, it’s pathetic, the VP is being FORCED to tell the truth….but he thinks the president has the right to commit crimes in private.

  7. You can’t be a member of two branches of government at the same time. The vice president is clearly a member of the executive branch, not the legislative branch.

    1. So that would mean he has no grounds for appeal if the judge agrees with him but still requires him to speak about what he said with the orange PAB.

    2. The vice president is also the head of the house of representatives, they would be the deciding vote if the vote was split 50/50.

  8. Just because something has never happened before doesn’t necessarily make it “extraordinary”. What is extraordinary is having someone so manifestly unqualified to hold the Presidential office be able to illegally manipulate the political and legal functions of the US Government to such an appalling extent. The Constitution allows for resolution to such behavior; some people have just been too timid or too corrupted to take it on.

    1. @Willie Prothro come on Pence, you are a man of the bible, why not testify and tell the truth. Or don’t you believe in the Bible!

  9. We all know that Pence KNEW in advance of what the plan was. Although he did the right thing, he should have to explain why he could not talk to the DOJ at the time because it would get back to trump and he would have more problems than to just DO THE RIGHT THING AND THEN SUFFER any consequences later. But of course, he wants to run for president and thinks if he talks, he will ALSO LOOSE.

  10. It is egregious that public figures seek protection from the law to protect them from their wrong doing. It is turning the notion of justice upside down.

  11. Mike Pence will have to tell the truth under oath. This is going to be one of the hardest things Mike Pence will ever do.

  12. “If you lie to your government, they’ll put you in prison. If they lie to all of us, that’s just called being a politician. ” TM

  13. I am glad that the law and order party is finally being given the opportunity to testify and to show that they have nothing to hide. Will pleading the 5th prove just how open, transparent and honest they all are?

    1. @Katrina  Wrong. Not that I even care for Hillary, but she appeared before Congress and answered their questions. What? Were you five years old when that happened or do you just have a bad memory?
