Prime Minister Justin Trudeau spoke following the Public Order Emergency Commission concluding that the federal government met the threshold for invoking the Emergencies Act in 2022, to bring an end to the "Freedom Convoy" protests and blockades.

  3. it’s not news. it was all predetermined months ago. that is why he never seemed bothered or stressed cuz of the commission’s investigation. also, the commission holds no legal status. it is purely symbolic. so the entire endeavour has been a show and a spectacle from the get go.

  4. It’s disappointing that Poilievre, the Conservatives and many of their supporters are still trying to excuse and rationalize actions that stepped well over the line of what can be considered peaceful and reasonable protest.
