    1. Republican memory sure sharpens and corrects itself when confronted with penalties of perjury. Same reason Fox news has to be somewhat legit with their news side but is free to spread propaganda and lies with their opinion guys.

  1. Clarify= I dont want to be convicted of perjury.= Deep down I dont have any integrity or spine…The word PERJURY really scares me.

    1. @myko freder just like Cohen, Gates and Flynn Ambassador Volker will flip to save himself from extra jail time. Same with Sondland, he’ll flip too to stay out of a long jail sentence…

  2. Kurt Volker was a seamstress in his previous life…he is addicted to “threading needles.” However, it should be said that he has pricked his poor fingers on numerous occasions. Finally, he has also punctured his memory which at this point in time resembles a Swiss cheese!

  3. I’m just really surprised he didn’t fall on his sword for Trump like so many already have. Bananas. Maybe there is hope for this democracy.

    1. @Walt Schmidt A Republic? Like the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea? (They think of themselves as Best Korea, not like the weak South Korea)
Trump alway wanted to be called Dear President like how Kim Jong Un is Dear Leader. They are best buddies. beautiful letters too.

    2. @mark bui Are you so stupid you don’t know the United States is a Republic? The founding fathers knew that democracies were short lived and were nothing more than mob rule.

    1. @Elizabeth Newcity Attempting any felonious crime is still a crime regardless of your lack of success. The GOP’s talking point to defend Trump is ridiculous.

    2. @John Swo Really? Hillary committed MULTIPLE felonies, Joe Biden committed at least three felonies. Where is your input on that?

    1. Almost certainly wouldn’t be jailed. Oliver North was convicted of perjury in testimony he gave to Congress surrounding the Iraq invasion. He went on to become President of the NRA, the most powerful lobbying arm of the Republican party at the time.

  4. Stones conviction re lying to Congress has forced them ALL to revise or amend their depositions . Bad news Trump. Because soundland Mulvaney and Guiliani are all criminally exposed with doing Trumps bidding. They are all conspirators . They should be trying to make a deal like now. All of these judges observing will have to decide to make them all testify . These impeachment proceedings are devastating to trump and the republicans.

  5. Omg the Sonland guy just confessed! I can’t wait to see Lawrence face! Woooooowhoooooo democracy wins! 🥂🍻🍺🍾🍷💖💖

  6. Roger Stone’s, Michael Steele’s, and Paul Manafort’s convictions for lying looms heavily on those still on the Trump team. When will Rudy Colludie reappear to defend his reputation and honor?

    1. Uh, Micheal COHEN. I’m sure past president of the RNC, and once-popular puppet on The Daily Show, Micheal Steele, is relieved he was replaced by Reince Priebus before the calamity of Thump.

  7. Oh so he lied initially….

….but suddenly recalled everything when he realized others were actually telling the truth🤣😂.

    1. And he was the star witness of Republicans, who thought he’d stick to his fake story to save their fairytale narrative…

    2. He did not lie, he was just wrong. The act of lying occurs when you know the truth and decide to give a false testimony. Kurt Volker gave a testimony from his perspective and did not assert that his perspective was the “end all, be all” truth. That’s why the news commentator (who is not a lawyer) was wrong in implying that Volker committed perjury.

In perjury, criminal culpability attaches only at the instant the declarant falsely asserts the truth of statements (made or to be made) that are material to the outcome of the proceeding. For example, it is not perjury to lie about one’s age…except if age is a fact, material to influencing the legal result.

    3. @3rdCoastAlliance I think you forgot that this was Sondland’s 3rd time in the seat. He saw all the others throw him under the bus so Sondland suddenly “recalls” things he claims he forgot..
Unlike you I don’t buy his BS story.

Lovely comment-novella BTW but I didn’t need the civics lesson.

    4. @3rdCoastAlliance but it is perjury to say that your conversations didn’t include talks of a specific action, then change your statement to say that maybe you did know. I’m glad you aren’t an attorney, you couldn’t win a case in a billion years…

    1. The Russ-publi-KKKants would be running around with their hair on fire! This, as opposed to a tan suit, would be the end of the world.

  8. STOP letting these obstructionist LIARS “revise” their lies AFTER they are caught. If there are no consequences, they will KEEP LYING. Hold these ppl accountable ffs.

    1. Republicans will always claim the narrative that serves their corrupt, greedy and selfish agendas. They’ll pretend, fake it, gas light the truth, blame, deflect, deny and all of this with no shame whatsoever. No apology, no accountability and no honor to the constitution. They’re memory works just fine when it serves them, other than that, their answer to questions is I do not recall. Republicans are an embarrassment and shameful to the United States. Their party should be abolished when Democrats take over in 2020.

    1. No past President Democratic , or Republican would have ever even thought of commiting such acts , All were pubic servants who despite their flaws did their best to serve the people. This is beyond horrific !

  9. The GOP brain needs to be ‘refreshed’ over the contents of the U.S. Constitution and their oaths of office…
