  1. The worst thing about Trump isn’t what we’ve learned about him, it’s what we’ve learned about our family, friends and neighbors that still support him.😔

    1. @Casey Funkhouser Why do you assume that anyone who doesn’t vote in lockstep with Democrats automatically watches Fox News? What kind of naïve black & white world do you live in?

    2. @Joan Frellburg Did you know that the Democrat congress initiated the Russia collusion investigation & they did it without any evidence at all when they started the R. Mueller special counsel investigation?
All they used was PARTISAN Suspicions and biased opinions to get a few Republicans to sign on.
Republicans that are beholden to the Political Establishment
The establishment that is made up of members from both sides of the isle.

The most corrupt politicians are the ones that get the most airtime on TV news stations & they get the most money kicked back to their campaigns by corporate doners. Then when their political careers are over, they get a job working for the TV news stations.

That is why you see Adam Kinzinger working at CNN now. Along side James Clapper and Andrew McCabe.

You probably think that I am a Registered Republican but you would be dead wrong.

      I’m registered as an Independent.

    3. That’s a sick thing to say about your family. If I were you I’d forgive yourself and show your family love and stop being a fool

  2. Daily Reminder! “I’ve known Jeffrey Epstein 15 years. Terrific guy. Jeffrey’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that Jeffrey loves beautiful gurls as much as I do, and many of dem are on the younger side.”

    Donald tRUMP Quote

    New Yorker Magazine

    2002

    Ps. Key operative takeaways.

    Known Jeffrey 15 years?

    Terrific guy?

Jeffrey’s lots of fun to be with?

    Beautiful gurls?

    Younger side?

    Underage?

    WTF?

    1. @Imagined Mountains I am not on the left and I am not on the right. I liked many of Trump’s policies. I just hate the person that Trump is and has proven to be over and over. I do not like many of the policies of uncle Joe, so I guess I am NOW free to express myself; Trump is the biggest narcissist outside of Kim Jong Un, Pol Pot and Hitler in human history. I guess your guy is outside the top 3 so not too bad.

    2. Also Trump appointed Acosta (the guy that left Epstein off the hook in the first place) as labor secretary….not to mention that he got whacked under his Attorney General Bill Barr who also had history with Epstein….

    3. Important to remember that Epstein was bigger then trump. He was friends with former presidents, governors, princes, media moguls, financial giants(Leon Black).

    1. @Montford Point Marines You made the statement that lives were lost due to his big lie. I bought her up as an example of how partisans will make statements like yours, but yet they still support or defend politicians who are also responsible for death and destruction. Republicans and Democrats defend Republican and Democrat politicians who are responsible for the illegal war in Iraq that killed countless civilians, the illegal occupation of a third of Syria, the destruction of Libya, and the on going genocide in Yemen.

    2. @Montford Point Marines  I’m saying it does, nor do I care about who won or lost the election. Either way, it’s far worse to overthrow Libya and cause it to become a failed state.

  3. I tried in vain to find a definition of what “woke” means, and so settled on the designation “aware”. I avoid using the word “woke”, because it is typically used in a judgmental way. Socrates had it right when he said, “The unexamined life is not worth living.” Self-awareness and respect for others is what “woke” should mean.

    1. “Woke” is someone who shoves aside common sense in order to push an agenda, such as the idea that men can get pregnant too or that boys should be allowed to play on the girls soccer team

  4. How could DT be even talked about as a possible presidential candidate considering all he did and legal issues he is faced with? That idea is absurd.

    1. Because this is the US, which Trump has shown is full of a lot of “uneducated people”, that he claims to love.

    2. Let’s not forget that thanks to President Biden’s extraordinary worth ethic his children didn’t have to grow up in a racial jungle. 🌴🌴 🐒🌶💩✊🏽 🌴🌴

  5. Bill Maher has been doing this hackneyed “both sides” false equivalency nonsense for years at about the time his relevancy plummeted. He’s like that weird, old out-of-touch relative that thinks he knows anything about younger people and is obsessed with horrible Facebook memes.

    1. @Mike PhxLightsRising to make money and offer no real solutions. Cancel Bill Maher send him back to his mansion to cry alone.

    2. @Pablo sorry to call you mean names. I guess you have thin skin? Don’t worry Pablo I know you have nothing to say too. Just enjoy a little attention from me okay it’s worth it for a laugh my dear troll.

    1. To: Noneofyour Business
@ > “Of course, the real tragedy is, dying for what you believe in doesn’t make it true…….. ”
Staying alive for what we do not believe in is BETTER!! < True or False?

  6. Don’t know what a “wokester” is. I still can’t understand what being “woke” is. If being woke is caring about ALL people and making sure the constitution works for everybody, then call me woke. —Susan

    1. I have been thinking about it. Could it be the stupid people who care so much about people so they end up hurting the people they want to protect? For example defund the police because they hurt black people. But then crimes would go up and the people how often is victim of crime is black people.
      s
So it’s ends up hurting the people they want to protect! And that’s just And example and doesn’t have to be just that example puberty blockers on children is another one I could think of?

    2. Woke refers to a particular frame or viewpoint in which all human relations are explained with inter-group power relationships. *Everything* is seen in terms of oppressors and the oppressed – there is no room for other ways of relating, and no room for other explanations of differences in group economic outcomes. The woke see these differences as a result of systems that are maintained by the oppressors for their benefit and see their own responsibility as limited to simply attacking the current system without consideration as to what might replace it. Don’t call yourself woke – it is an insult to your integrity, compassion and intelligence.

    3. I agree. Calling out racism and bigotry and wanting equality and justice for all is a good thing. I guess I’m proud to be “WOKE”.

  7. “The very class that owes its new affluence to the Movement now refuses to support the organizations that made its success possible, and has retreated from its concern for black people who are poor.”

~ Alice Walker, American writer of novels, poetry, and short stories; activist

  8. I find Bill insufferable as a person, but he’s one of the few public figures who doesn’t necessarily subscribe to identity politics and criticises nuts on both sides of the political spectrum

  9. I get Bill Maher’s points, more times than not, but I find it hard to pull the both-sidesism card in today’s politics. Yes, the SJWs of social media can be annoying and eye-rolling, but that pales in comparison to the authoritarian and fascist tendencies of the MAGA crowd…

  10. agreed, this country has been hi-jacked by the far right and far left… they are also the loudest on social media so the government and media tries to pander to them… I also blame the media for this mess… NORMAL people aren’t as loud, crazy, nor disconnected as these four groups are

    1. @ScootMagoot46 no Bernie is just an idiot who thinks we need more socialism than what’ we’ve already got even though the dude is a multi millionaire with a few mansions

    2. @ScootMagoot46 the far left is the Antifa idiots in portland who push for anarchy and communism and whoever doesn’t want it is a nazi

    3. Has a pronoun tried to destroy democracy lately or that boy in a dress somewhere in a city near you make it impossible to pass ANY sensible gun regulations? The far left can be annoying the far right are dangerous to democracy and progress

    4. The country has been hijacked by people who want to convince you that social programs and minority inclusion is ‘far left’. And by the looks, they’re succeeding.

  11. It is astonishing that everyone who was watching closely did not predict that he was not going to leave the WH willingly…

    1. @A Fridge Too Far What’s with the mental gymnastics here? You said that he “left willingly”, when he didn’t. Now you’re trying to claim that I said he never physically left at all? Get a better argument, or be quiet.

    2. @TrueViews Ok, so? Again, are you saying Trump had to be physically removed from the White House. if the answer is ‘No’, then Trump left willingly.

    3. @A Fridge Too Far January 6th. He didn’t leave willingly. When the Head of Secret Service Security Tony Ornato refused to take him to the Capital, Trump reached forward and grabbed the steering wheel and had to be physically restrained by his own security. Ornato literally wrestled the wheel of the car away from him while they held his arms and drove him back to the White House according to both Ornato and Cassidy Hutchinson, who gave sworn testimony to his Congress. It literally took two former marines i.e. military intervention to remove him from his own coup.

    4. @Dark Forest well we know you certainly gobbled up nd swallowed the whole Jan6 insurrection committee hearings load with a smile on your face hahahaha

  12. You know, there’s not a single clip of Don where he doesn’t try to make himself shine after seeing another person shine. “Bill Maher predicted DT not leaving WH, I predicted him winning”. Did the same exact thing with another interview. Embarrassing! Give the man a few days to recover after his screw up, he’s clearly not ok right now.

    1. Bill also predicted a Red Wave in the mid terms because of Wokeism. What he doesnt realize is that this Wokeism isnt as big of a deal as he thinks. Other than millionaire comedians and angry bullies, most people have other issues of importance, ie affordable living

  13. I agree with some of his points. But it often feels like Bill Maher wants everyone to maintain the same 1990’s sensibilities and attitudes. The world is changing due to globalization; increasingly diversified populations; more civili rights; education; easier access to information;. People are reacting to that – some kicking against (MAGA’s), some leaning all the way in (the woke) There is a better way to handle that change without advocating for people’s worldview to remain fixed and ideologically stagnant.

    1. Great summary. I agree with a lot of what Maher has said about the phones and social interaction, but nevertheless, the right thing to do is always accept the inevitable progress, even if it makes us personally uncomfortable.

  14. I still can’t figure out what “woke” means other than having intelligence and compassion for ordinary American’s issues.

    1. Wanting pronouns, gender neutral bathrooms, claiming that everything is racist, wanting more coloured people in different jobs no matter how good they are at it are all examples of being woke

  15. Bill Maher should have said during the interview: “Why do my ideas on politics even matter? I’m no Chomsky!”
