  1. We need to know the history of that marine ..lots marines are in fringe groups … The could his judgment …. This nyc they could told that homeless guy to eat a frank … Not murder him for words

  2. Now you know he didn’t mean to kill this guy and for those of you who are condemning him for that think of the alternative like when this homeless mentally ill person got off the train and a pushed someone off the platform in front of another train. It’s a shame but –

    1. I get what you’re trying to say but this guy wasn’t a threat you can clearly see that. We’ll at lease I hope you can

    2. “Now you know he didn’t mean to kill this guy” lawyers says that in court guy gets life

  3. Somebody must have noticed that he was passing out. Isn’t that the time to let go of him, before his brain is completely starved of oxygen?!?

  4. it was only a matter of time until he was a menace to society . He was already being extra and disorderly

    1. Google him. He already was. Multiple arrests for assaulting people. He supposedly harrasses and threatens people on the subway all the time.

  5. I’ve been on San Francisco Metra with 6 foot plus guys screaming for money at the passengers. And no security. Two different guys in one trip. Where was the security? They should have been handling this. Stop the train at nearest station. Police get on. Put some handcuffs on and haul him away.

  6. I read that he held him in a chokehold for 15 minutes. Either the dude wanted to kill him or is just dumb. Strangling someone for 15 minutes only has 1 outcome.

  7. There are also many ways to administer a headlock without a chokehold. Many more “submission holds” as well. Looks like another passenger was trying to help as well. With 2 people helping subdue the guy a headlock is way over the top.

  8. way too much force applied for an extended period. the military guy is obviously in top physical condition man handling a homeless guy who can barely put up a fight.

  9. A three minute choke hold with three people on top of you…come on thats ridiculous….thats murder!!!!

  10. The only thing more disturbing than this incident is how many people are encouraging it. What a sociopathic and vile society we are. You do not have the right to murder someone for harassing you. There are more humane and lawful ways of handling the situation. He held him in the chokehold for too long. I understand doing it briefly to restrain him but it was excessive. NYC failed this man.
