  1. Get a very reputable dealer.
That’s a world class auction piece. Get it in a safe.

  2. Why the hell are the police investigating the rock? Shouldn’t geologists or somebody be investigating the rock?

    1. To make sure it wasn’t some deliberate damage, ie: being tossed out of a small aircraft or something. The family probably called the police, coz really, who else could you call? MUFON might be interested but they take a while LOL

    2. Okay, okay. We all know Russia or China threw the rock .
      Are you happy now?

  3. Like in Joe Dirt, he took it all over the place, telling everyone, long story short, it was space poo 💩

  4. ‘Of all the square inches on this planet, you just had to choose the ONE square inch where I was sitting!’

    1. Imagine the kind of Karen you would have to be the call the police on a space rock 💀

  5. Meteorites are worth a LOT OF MONEY so don’t let them just take it. Search about their worth online, I used to watch a series called Metorite men and they got a lot of money for the small pieces they found, that’s a huge chunk so don’t let them rob you.

    1. yeah at that size, I’d say it’s at least likely to pay for the damage to the house. value is greatly dictated by the elemental composition of the meteorite, as the vast majority are all very similar iron/nickel and not so interesting, but a small percentage of meteorites has very distinct elemental compositions, and the thing that makes those interesting and valuable is that they come from very different regions of the universe, in some cases much farther away on random and unique flight paths. some of them are among the rarest materials in human possession and can have very substantial scientific value as accidental physical samples from places we could never hope to recover anything from deliberately.

    2. Had this happened in Norway where a meteorite did the same as in this video. A well known geologist here, bought the rock for $100 000. Hope she didn’t just give it away..

  6. I’d be blaming God rather than thanking him if a space rock punched a whole in my house😂

  7. Massive mistake. I’d hold onto that sucker, get it verified through a private geologist and sell that sucker.

  8. That’s worth some serious money. Get it back from the police before they steal it.

  9. There are many people on here stating that she needs to keep it. Any meteorite is very valuable. Even a tiny chip from it is worth at least a hundred, so imagine that big chunk. She better make sure she gets that whole piece back in her hands.

  10. That is worth millions if not billions. Don’t let the government take it.

  11. At least we know now the best planetary defence against a meteor is that laminate flooring
