    1. @Spartacus 80 I guess, if that was Kobe’s personal pilot and he says fly, you fly. I read that LAPD and other police departments in the area grounded their helicopters cause of the conditions. It’s sad that that was his favorite form of transportation. Like I said, if they (everyone on board) just drove, like the rest of us, then maybe they would all be still here today.

  1. I remember a time in kindergarten when we were cleaning up our toys and I had a block and yelled “Kobe” when I threw it in the bucket and then I got put on timeout. Long Live Mamba❤

  2. Long time Celtics fan, and it absolutely broke by heart when the Lakers beat the Celtics in 2010. But it was a blessing to watch Kobe compete and gained probably all Celtics fan’s respect and admiration. Bless all the families that lost their loved ones this day.

    1. You’re a true sports fan, with genuine sportsmanship! You were devastated by your team’s loss but you admired and respected the other team and players for their outstanding play. You’re a rare and good person!👏✌🏻💜💚💛

    2. I agree with everything you said man. I’m a die hard Celtics fan too. Kobe was like Jeter (as a die hard Red Sox fan) I hated Jeter, but deep down inside I respected the hell out of both those players (I hated them cause they just were so good and saw them beat my teams many times). One thing is, it almost seems forgotten, the other people who died in that helicopter crash. Just Kobe and his daughter, but damn, all those people died that day. I mourn for every single one of them.

    1. @ASHA NYC when did I say money is her motivation ? Lol don’t put words in my mouth . U took my comment in a negative way because ur looking to get triggered

    2. Vanessa: She will cope with the tragedy and be okay! Kobe was filthy rich! She and the two surviving children are lucky! Many struggling families live week to week.

Kobe will leave Vanessa and her two other children at least 100 million dollars! She and her children are lucky and blessed to not have to worry about where they will stay and how they can feed themselves!

    3. Vanessa and her kids will be fine (two surviving daughters). Kobe was filthy rich ( his estate worth at least 200 million dollars)! Vanessa will have no financial problems (unlike most americans). I hope she can adjust to a tragedy!

I hope the other family can cope with the major lose! I think the friend of his child lost two other loved ones! 3 persons in the other family died on the helicopter! The girl played basketball with the daughter of Kobe!

    4. You idiots the money doesn’t comfort the loss of a spouse and child. I’m sure she rather have them instead.

    5. You do understand that people die every day and every day a wife has to sleep alone and sadly every day a kid dies and that room will also be empty……

  3. Rest In Peace to all those 8 people and Rest In Peace to anyone out there who passed as well because we all matter

  4. R.i.p to everyone in the crash sending prayers to the family’s I can’t even sleep it’s bothering me so much omg

  5. I don’t have to be a fan to know that millions of people just lost a positive role model from their lives

  6. I know he’s the one in the public eye, but let’s not forget the others in the helicopter. Including his daughter Gianna. RIP

  7. Kobe not just the most legendary Laker of all time, he is the most Legendary basketball player of all time!

  8. In the quiet of the evening
    Oh so cold
    I lie here so still
    Thinking just of you
Gazing up at the night sky
I see a star burning brightly
    It reminds me of you
Telling the secrets of the universe
    Family first and hard work
Will make all of your dreams come true
    Burning brightly for ever
    Good bye friend.

  9. to the generation who grew up shouting ‘KOBE’ anytime they threw something.

don’t stop doing it, don’t let the tradition die.
