Taking too long to make changes to laws in Jamaica and not until crimes are committed on their door steps will they make change
Jamaica is becoming a country that no first world country or any Caribbean wants anything to do with, we was once the go to place now no one wants Jamaicans in there country it’s a shame how we have fallen to not have in my country stay on your island please 😢for my land I was once so proud to say I’m a Jamaican
The state Illinois is passing a law 1 Jan to do the opposite for crime up to 2nd degree murder. Lease she have common sense. Some ppl deserve bail. Some ppl hold threat. Balance a must.

@HalfMoon Mario if there is a murder in zoe zoe or ghetto there is no bail but if you live uptown and commit murder u can get bail . so bail for noel and no bail if u a ghetto youth
@THE DEAN wah name Zoe Zoe? Denying bail for any and everyone who is charged with murder is unrealistic and very unlikely to come to fruition. Human rights activists will never allow that to happen. But if u don’t like Zoso, don’t kill people 👍
Nah go lie… I was keen on seeing jlp leave office. Just due to the fact, at this moment in time, I don’t think having a single party in power for more than two terms is healthy for our economic and social climate.
But seeing how careful this bill has been sought after, I may just change my opinion.
New bail act doesn’t make a difference when a criminal can be set free in the middle of the night by these so called law enforcement who are driven by money.
This law doesn’t change anything, if a person Commit he/she must serve a life sentence. But if it’s self defense the court can use their Discretion to determining if it was self defense. It’s bill sounds like it’s Lenient to a lesser charge. But you kill one of their own the charges are upgraded ( one law for the government, friends, rich ppl and there is the other law for regular citizens) countries need to start putting Pressure on the government of Jamaica
