trump supporters are not big on due process, courts of law, admissible evidence, and equal protection under the law when it’s used to hold THEM accountable.
They also have no use for it when it’s applied for the justice of people who do not look, think, and act like themselves.
While I agree with what he is saying in terms of listening to what others are saying in principle, it still brings up so many questions. When their opinions and speech are based on hatred, fear, and white supremacy and the furtherance of these ideals, how long are we supposed to listen? The people who disagree are already repulsed and the people who do agree consider it validation. Do you think that there are some people who Harbor those mentalities who will all of a sudden wake up and say G that looks and sounds kind of ignorant? Where does this get us?
