On WEDNESDAY (24/05/2023) 9am -2pm there will be another public protest at the MINISTRY OF FINANCE at Heroes Circle against the recent wage increase that the politicians give themselves. “When people VOTE IN JOKERS, cranks, weak men & woe-men, charlatans (swindlers) with some gift of the gab (talk a lot), you run a very serious risk of losing everything you have.” – Lee Kuan Yew (First PM of Singapore).

PNP just as bad. Remember that PJ did this before he went out. Also, the only reason why Golding saying what he said is because the public had an outcry. Remember that when this first came out, in their first press release they said nothing about being against this pay increase and that they won’t take it. So what does that tell you about the PNP?

The hard truth is this is this best move for Jamaica . With the Majority of Jamaica is in poverty , what we have is a Government that is elected by the lowest education and emotional mindset . What happens now is the power of the vote is neutralized and politician can do the right things which is often time the hard things , that people will rebel against , but need to be done anyways . Politician don’t have to worry about win loose or draw because they still will be paid . Money is not an object so the right thing can be done
As hard as this is to accept for me personally, what you wrote here carry sense. It’s the only logical explanation that can be thought of because even if the PNP win the next election, chances are VERY AND EXTREMELY SLIM that they will roll back these very high salary increases.

How them want 70 to 100% when teachers get 20%. Plus they already mek alot more than teachers and police. They desrver a decrease in current salary
