    1. Volkswagen is huge and literally has plants around the world and looks decades ahead not year to year. Oh do try harder.

  1. Opposition Finance critic can’t answer the question and just throws out a bunch of would haves & should haves, yet can’t simply answer a yes or no.
Battery plant in Windsor is going up quite fast from what I see on my daily drive past it so I don’t know what he’s talking about with not getting things built.
At least the NDP critic had answers relevant to the questions.

    1. Corporations can finance their own business for profit, using our tax dollars for their profit is unforgivable on all levels

    2. I don’t want my tax dollars being used for the furtherance of a multi billion dollar corporation, unless they are responsible not only for the loan but I want interest on the loan, no financial burden to Canada’s tax payers

    1. That would be the Liberal Govt – budgeted at $8Bn. If you think subsidies are the way to go, you clearly don’t get it.

  2. The conservative finance critic’s refusal to answer a direct question, tells me, they’re not capable of the job.

  3. Our tax payers money should not go to billionaire car companies, either it s for EV or whatever. They should invest in their own products if they really believe in it. enough with the bloody corporate welfare.

  4. I thought ndp stance was pharma care was to be running by end of 2023. Now its flexible. They’re gonna prop liberal budget no matter what.

  5. the more they show this conservative finance critic the less votes there will be for the conservatives on election day haha and that is how the conservatives lost the next election folks. maybe this will help the ndp as the guy from their party was able to listen and answer vassy’s questions. i wonder if we will get to see vassy run for prime minister? vassy for prime minister of canada she would get my vote

  6. I don’t want my tax dollars financing big business. Businesses can finance themselves. This trend has gone on for far too long. The tax payers fund these projects and the companies reap the rewards.

    1. Using tax dollars to fund big businesses no different than using tax dollars to fund government. It’s a handout no matter how you look at it. The last thing we need is more government dependency. Look how much money they waste.

  7. In order to indice investors to Canada, clearly you have to offer them insensitive. But why give them tax breaks?

  8. Where will the Lithium be refined?
    Where will it be mined?
Will SNC Lavilin get all the EPC contracts?
Will Trudeau get his kick back from VW or SNC Lavilin?
Will Tax payers own a share of the company?
Has a environmental study been completed yet?
Canadians need answers before we get on board with Trudeaus vote buying scheme.
