Pussy Riot’s Nadya: Russian Protestors Are ‘Fighting For Democracy’ | The Last Word | MSNBC

    1. @kozak2010998 I don’t think Jesus would of approved of much of the fighting. Especially not that part where they tried to overturn the country’s democracy because they wanted to crown a cruel authoritarian!
Actually… its frightening the amount of Americans who straight out started WORSHIPING Trump like a deity. I’ve seen people claiming they would follow Trump’s words before that of Jesus!!

  1. That’s heartbreaking that Masha is jailed and that Nadya continues to have nightmares about the treatment she received at a work camp.

    1. @Engage360 dude look out the window. Portland is still there. Minneapolis is still there. Kenosha is still there. No cities have disappeared.

  2. Hang in there, sweetie. Keep up your fight….it’s the good one. I will pray for you and for Russia! Godspeed

  3. To all the Russians out there, please fight hard for your democracy. As Americans, we know military strength or international leverage doesn’t mean anything if your democracy suffers for it.

    1. @Steve Carrigan
There is a brief video out there (unless it has been canceled by YouTube) showing a Chinese political professor addressing the Chinese Politburo. He told them and assured them United States politicians in very high places who were bought off by the Chinese Central Government.

  4. This video of police attacking fed up peaceful protestants in Russia, demonstrates the way the Capitol police in US should have dealt with the insurrectionist domestic terrorists on January 6th. The contrast is appalling.

  5. It’s heartbreaking to see brave Russian people like Navalny, Nadya, and Masha literally risk their lives to make Russia a democracy, while we have hateful imbeciles, here, ready to throw democracy away. SIGH 🙁

    1. «No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed it has been said that democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.…» – Winston S Churchill, 11 November 1947

    2. The Corona Virus did a lot of damage in Russia. There are Elections coming up in 2024. Previously Putin may have won elections in Russia. But I think he’s legitimately worried about 2024.

    3. Russia is technically has democracy. They also hold election every few years! After all democracy literally means THE TYRANNY OF THE MAJORITY! ROFLOLOL

  6. The whole might of the Russian police state brought to bear on such young and mild-looking women. Where is the justice and fairness in Russia?

    1. The same place that justice and fairness is in the United States.

Fyi, 25% of the worlds prisoners, are in the U.S. penal system, with over 2.2 million of its citizens incarcerated; most of them for minor drug offenses that were turned into “felonies” and “felony misdemeanors” by the ongoing, decades-long “war on drugs”

      Also, “prison labor camps” is a real thing in the United States;
Some (..”capitalistic”) companies guilty of exploiting prisoners for pennies/hour labor ? : Wal-Mart. McDonalds. Nike. Microsoft. Intel. IBM.Sprint. BP. Boeing, and dozens of others.

The U.S. has no place to be telling others how to operate, function or run their societies ..or their government. The U.S. is a dysfunctional mess; it might just have more (..neglected and ignored) issues than Time magazine.

    2. @David Fitch Ok Vlad. The US government is nowhere near as corrupt and repressive as Putin’s regime. There can be no honest comparison.

    3. @Robert Kinoy “Vlad” ? : Whatever.
You missed the point; And/or refuse to acknowledge just how bad things really are (..and have been for decades), in the U.S. for the vast majority of its very own citizens.

    4. @Robert Kinoy The US is much more corrupt then Russia give me one example where the US isnt corrupt…Lobbying in Russia is at least a crime…

  7. USA – Billionaires control the government.
    China – Government controls Billionaires.
Russia – Billionaires are the government.
