Retired U.S. Army Captain Dan Berschinski Discusses If 20 Years In Afghanistan Was Worth It

    1. @Carmen Nadel A racist, corrupt pathological liar is a disgrace to our country, whether it be Trump or Biden.

    2. @THE GOD OF YOUTUBE Hahaha you just proved your ignorance.
My comment was a trap and you walked right into it.
No US soldier has died in Afghanistan for over a year.
More people have died this year from mass shootings than the past few years.

That people think 2,000 support troops that are not the in thick of things was a higher priority than gun violence just shows how easily people are moved by pundits and talk show hosts instead of reality and facts.
An entire country destroyed because 2,000 troops is such a big team when you have 12,000, 45,000 and others in South Korea and Europe.

The ignorance and lack of empathy is shocking

  1. Pointless? A few trillion dollars pocketed by special interests. Zero accountability and many corporations and individuals are a lot richer. Don’t worry, Americans will pick up the bill for yet another disastrous government sponsored empire building which never works.

  2. “The goal is to use Afghanistan to wash money out of the tax bases of the US and Europe through Afghanistan and back into the hands of a transnational security elite. The goal is an endless war, not a successful war” – Julian Assange 2011

  3. I admire his ability to realize that he sacrificed a lot for a lost cause. A loss like that takes a lot of courage to come to terms with and accept.

  4. And what this brave soldier describes is exactly how I would have thought our now president would have been like.. genuinely compassionate people want to listen. And truly smart people know how to stay quiet and truly listen. They understand that they are in the presence of an individual who has experiences that they do not have, regardless of age.
This is something Donald Trump will never understand, could never understand because he is a sociopathic narcissist who thinks that he knows everything and actually stupidly believes that other people are useful to him only if he finds them useful to him. Listening to a plain old everyday soldier at a family dinner table completely impromptu to truly spend time with courageous Americans and listen to what they have to say? Wouldn’t happen in a million years and I would love just one Trumper to disagree with me on this. Just one. Bring it. Please

  5. Wars are not good at all! This one? Another Vietnam! Thank you Biden from pulling out the troops out a country that chicken out and didn’t want to fight for their freedom!!

  6. Given how quickly the Afghan army capitulated, I doubt another month, year, or decade would have made any difference.
Well, unless you’re talking about the bank accounts of corrupt Afghan officials and the US industrial war complex, maybe.

  7. Why would you criticize a person who is trying to clean-up the 20 year debacle that is Afghanistan?
And why would anyone think that cleaning up a 20 year debacle would be easy or pretty? Especially in a country like Afghanistan.
Name one thing about Afghanistan that has ever been easy, pretty, or smooth.

The truth about what Trump and Stephen Miller did with Afghanistan is finally coming out. Because what’s done in the dark, will eventually come to the light.

And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

    1. What a pathetic, dishonest straw-man. NO-ONE IS ARGUING THAT WITHDRAWAL SHOULDN’T HAPPEN.
Biden bungled it, despite giving himself more time than Trump’s plan called for. Own it

  8. That’s why Biden is effective. Biden is a straight talker. One of the marks of great leaders is their ability to listen. You might not like him, and he may not be of your party but he has the ability to see all sides then act wisely. He’s smarter than you think and sharper than he looks.

  9. Captain, I really appreciate your comments, on along with your honesty. Sorry you were hurt. Thanks 👍😊 so much for your service to US. God 🙏 bless you.

  10. It’s called Left Behind. O’Donnell deserves an Emmy for this particular comment. He nailed it. Find it and watch it, please.😐
