There are currently two ongoing special counsel investigations into U.S. presidents over classified documents. Here's what to know.

Attorney General Merrick Garland appointed a special counsel, Robert Hur, on Thursday to further review the handling of classified documents found at a former office space used by President Joe Biden and at his home in Wilmington, Delaware.
Hur is a former U.S. attorney in Maryland who will return to the government from private practice in Washington. Hur, who also was a principal associate deputy attorney general in the Trump administration, was expected to begin work in the coming days.

Classified Documents in THREE Different Locations Isn’t an Accident

Every president takes documents with them when they leave the White House. Then there is a process of sorting to see which ones will go to the national archive and which ones will end up in a Presidential library. Some presidents do this process quickly. Others take their sweet time.
In the meantime the requirements that they are in a secured location.
For example Obama still has not sorted his documents relating to his presidency. He needed more time because he wants to digitize all of them first.
When a president leaves White House of course they take all documents relating to their presidency with them including top secret. What are they supposed to do? Leave them behind for someone else to deal with?
The requirement concerning top secret documents that they are stored in a secure location. At the White House they are in a secured location. Where they are taken must also be a secured location.
What was Trump supposed to do? Leave them behind for Biden to deal with?
Trump moved documents to a secured location on the mara Lago compound placed in a secured location in compliance with the law.
The secured location is then to be inspected. Two months before the raid the FBI inspected Mar-A-Lago secure location by request of the national archive. They made recommendations including adding an additional padlock.
All reports that Trump was cooperative. Find me a report that he wasn’t. It doesn’t exist. Is presidential place papers were placed in a secure location in compliance with the law. He was cooperative with the inspection in compliance with the law.
Two months later without warning they raid Mar-A-Lago, cut through the padlock _which they requested_ and crack Trump’s safe in the middle of the night. Their excuse for cracking was that Trump was unavailable at the time. They couldn’t wait until morning to get the combination? Trump is not allowed to turn his phone off while sleeping? They said they couldn’t reach Trump in the middle of the night so they had to crack?
What Trump did was no different than any other president in history.
So why is Biden to be investigated for doing the same thing? Because it was not the same. 1. They were not in a secured location. 2. A president is the only elected official with the final say-so on classifying and declassifying. There is no process for a president because there is no one else who has those powers. For all other elected officials there are very specific procedures to get something declassified so it is exempt from the requirement of a secured location. Biden’s documents were from a vice presidency. They were not in a secured location. He had no presidential powers to declassify them by decree to exempt them from secured location requirements.
The Democrat leadership was warned not to weaponize the alphabet agencies and the media against their opponents or it will come back against them. They would not listen. Biking is finished. He will be impeached for this.
Furthermore. Mar-A-Lago raid was nothing more than a smear campaign. The DOJ was never going to prosecute something that was in full compliance with the law. Their only purpose was to slander Trump falsely, twist the truth, and milk the whole thing right up until the next election. So that stupid people could easily be influenced to believe that Trump did something outside the normal procedure that every other president has done the same. Moving documents from the White House to a secure location until they can be reviewed and sordid whether to go to the national archive or into a Presidential library.
Furthermore, they set the president with Hillary. She was caught classified documents in the unsecured location as Secretary of State. No presidential powers of declassification. Secretary of state.
She could not even claim that she had declassified them first.
The department of Justice announced that they were not going to prosecute because they were not sure that she understood that what she was doing was wrong.
Then they could not prosecute Trump because they said a president with Hillary. If they did not prosecute her and they could not prosecute Trump without proving that they were militarized politically against political opponents. This would have allowed an investigation by Congress if they had prosecuted Trump. The conclusion that Trump did have them in a secure location which had been inspected. And would have proven that the national archive, in conjunction with the FBI and the doj, had become weaponized by the Democrat party.
Hildabeast and Biting on the other hand were not in compliance with law.
As Biden gets impeached for his offenses there will also be demands to investigate the alphabet agencies and restructure them. The FBI will be eliminated and a new agency, the NFBI will replace it, rehiring only those who were not part of the politically biased weaponization. Those agencies are required by law to be neutral. They are also finished.
They were warned. They would not listen.
