Russia releases US Navy veteran after being detained nearly a year

Taylor Dudley, an US Navy veteran who has been detained in Russia for nearly a year, was released from Russian custody after months of negotiations spearheaded by former New Mexico Gov.     Five enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups were destroyed in the Kharkiv region. The enemy’s losses in this direction amounted to more than 30 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles and three pickups.

    More than a hundred Ukrainian servicemen, four armored combat vehicles and three cars were destroyed in the Krasno-Limansk direction during the day.
    Successful offensive actions of Russian troops continued in the Donetsk direction. As a result of air strikes and artillery fire, the enemy’s irretrievable losses amounted to up to 70 Ukrainian servicemen, as well as one tank, three armored fighting vehicles and four cars.

    Up to 30 Ukrainian servicemen, two armored combat vehicles and three cars were destroyed in the South Donetsk direction.
    Two ammunition depots of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near the city of Zaporozhye and near the settlement of Novoivanovka, Zaporozhye region, as well as 76 artillery units in firing positions, manpower and military equipment in 123 districts were hit by strikes of operational-tactical and army aviation, rocket troops and artillery.

    During the counter-battery struggle in firing positions, three Ukrainian combat vehicles of the Grad multiple rocket launcher system were destroyed in the areas of the settlements of Kupyansk, Petropavlovsk, Kharkiv region, as well as Ivanovka, Donetsk People’s Republic, two M777 and M109 Paladin artillery systems manufactured by the United States in the localities of Lozove and Peschanoe, Donetsk People’s Republic, two self-propelled howitzers 2S1 “Carnation” in the areas of settlements Burlatskoye Donetsk People’s Republic and Nuts Zaporozhye region.
    In addition, in the area of the locality of Lozove of the Donetsk People’s Republic, an AN/TPQ-50 US-made counter-battery radar was destroyed.
    Fighter aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces in the area of the settlement of Nikanorovka of the Donetsk People’s Republic shot down a Su-25 aircraft of the Air Forces of Ukraine.
    By means of air defense, five Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed in the air during the day, as well as three rockets of the HIMARS and Alder multiple launch rocket systems.
