See what investigators found at attack site after Putin’s denial

At least 18 people are dead, dozens wounded and several missing after a Russian missile attack on a mall in the central Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk. CNN's Salma Abdelaziz was at the site of the strike where Ukrainian prosecutors and investigators are collecting evidence to prove what they say is another Russian war crime. #CNN #News

  1. To belIeve Putin is like believing the child, with cookie crumbs around his mouth, that he did not eat the cookie

    1. That’s an insult to children because they are much more wiser and 100% truthful than Putin.

    2. @Andrey Olshansky sorry but civil war isn’t covered by Geneva convention and Luhansk and Donbas separatists regions are internal civil are backed by Russia

    3. @T Switzer “sorry but civil war isn’t covered by Geneva convention and Luhansk and Donbas separatists regions are internal civil are backed by Russia”-
      – and therefore the Nazi Ukrainian regime has every right to subject the civilian population of Donbass to genocide ??? The typical logic of the Western colonialist in relation to the local population objectionable to him! Has Cameron’s Avatar movie been watched by a Westerner for a long time?

  2. There were NO secondary explosions, meaning there were no arms or explosives in that building.

    1. @Vicky Jane my apologies I just found the report from amnesty int. Seems they have indeed done what they could without going there, pity. Now the ICC will have only Russian investigation to make a ruling. Seem quite plausible that 2 heavy missiles landed together causing all that death and destruction. I wish a thorough investigation happened. I hope they find those responsible.

    1. @Faray Mufuni because they think they can do everything, the only lords of the world.

  3. “Evil cannot create anything new, they can only corrupt and ruin what good forces have invented or made.”

    1. @User User There was a war going on, a war started by Russia and that building had been taken over by the rebels, it then becomes a legitimate target because it has military in it” – let’s continue the logic – 1. the Nazi Ukrainian regime in the city of Kremenchug on plant near the shopping center organized a military facility with a weapons storage.
      2. The shopping center, with the connivance of the local military / Nazi authorities, did not stop working during an air raid
      3. A camouflaged military facility was hit by a Russian missile (according to your logic, if you can bomb a military facility in Luhansk, then you can also Kremenchug!)
      4. The ammunition depot that was on the territory of the plant detonated, the shopping center burned down, people died …
Conclusion: Correctly say the Ukrainian Nazis have the same tactics as the Islamic terrorists. That some that others need to be destroyed, especially when they settled near the border of your country, your home …

  4. Putin exemplifies the old Soviet mentality of indifferent disregard for human life. Stalin said ” One death is a tragedy. A million is a statistic”. Putin knows his Soviet history.

    1. @Traci Schmidt ummm he died of a heart attack. Your acting as if he died from some horrible fate.

    1. We’re still waiting to see WMD that the adults were referring to in Iran. Until then all’s fine and well.

    2. Not only the dementia dwarf is a joke. His bulldog is another comedy character. To top if off with the guy that called westerners frog eating, sphaghetti, etc… A joke.

  5. A shopping mall, train station, multiple apartment buildings… I’m noticing a trend. It’s suspicious enough that these sophisticated missiles, known for their accuracy, keep missing their targets. When the “unintended” targets start following a tend, I think it’s reasonable to conclude these aren’t accidents.

    1. @vetrieska11 That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever 🤔 it’s not like a missile that hits a ship at sea doesn’t have to be precise… They have to be precise.

  6. *Quote* During the entire conflict period, from 14 April 2014 to 31 December 2021, OHCHR recorded a total of 3,106 conflict-related civilian deaths (1,852 men, 1,072 women, 102 boys, 50 girls, and 30 adults whose sex is unknown). Taking into account the 298 deaths on board Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 on 17 July 2014. *End Quote*

*8 Years of civial war started by Russian ultra nationalists:*

    – 3106 civilian casualties in the Donbas Region. Ethnic Russians AND Ukainians!

    – over 200 accounted to the shot down of flight MH17 by the Russian seperatists!

    – 3106 divided by 8 years equals 375 per year.

*4 months of war started by official Russia*

    – 4654 civilian casualties in the Donbas Region alone, cause by the Russian invasion! Numbers multiplied by the factor 192 since Putins „Help“ for his fellow countrymen!

    – 4656 multiplied by 3 equals 13‘962 per year!

Here you go! Hard facts with official numbers by the OSCE which has been officialy instructed and trusted by Russia and Ukarine to investigate in that matter!

Every human being with the slightest sense for logic will have to acknowledge, that Putin does not help any Russian on Ukrainian territory. In fact, he has them killed in masses! Numbers of dead Russian soldiers not even considered in those numbers!

    1. @Чочнева Зарина „blah blah blah“ ? We thank you for this highly valuable and constructive input to such an important topic! I really mean it! Next….

    2. @Чочнева Зарина Thanks for showing Russia’s callousness when it comes to civilian suffering. People think it’s only the military but thanks for showing the average Russian couldn’t care less.

    3. Just curious, why are you not including the Crimea region in your numbers… otherwise, thank you for the excellent information.

  7. You can clearly see the mall was hit , to try to claim it was “just a fire” that was started by ammunition in another building going off is absolutely ridiculous and sickening .

    1. @Mick Owens Well, on one side we have the Russian ministry of defense who claimed that they were not going to invade Ukraine. On the other side we have random civilians with major visible injuries who were shopping. In the absence of any other evidence I’m gonna go with the random civilians.

    2. @ROTMetro good idea. I have also taken the work of hundreds of civilians in mariupol, izyum, severodonetsk. For the record Russia said they would not invade as long as Zelenski could give assurances to not join NATO. You can listen to half an interview if you like or you can learn all the story.

    3. @Mick Owens That is not what Russia told the US government nor Macron (President of France) but nice revisionism. So these hundreds of people you listened to were in Kremenchuk, Ukraine just this week?

    4. @ROTMetro lol I said where they are from, now you make fun of civilians?? Well unless they tell you what you want to I guess. Never heard from macron, where is this interview you watched of them talking. CNN posts full interviews and that is what was said.

    5. @shah 101 heard of proximity fuse? The British made them first in 1944 Russia would by now been able to copy them..

  8. They deny, then immediately after lie. They’re so good at being liars it just comes naturally with them.

    1. Soviet-trained as a spy. Although, to be honest, you’d think he’d been more convincing.

    2. Looks and sounds like someone else that recently tried to run a country….
      Slightly different maturity level…
      But basically the same behavior

  9. Russia has said 1) the Ukrainians themselves destroyed the mall, calling it a “Bucha-style Ukrainian provocation,” 2) the mall was destroyed when fire spread from a nearby target of Russian missiles, 3) Russia did destroy the mall but it was being used as a warehouse for military supplies, and 4) the mall had been abandoned long ago and was empty.

All of these conflicting stories came out of Moscow within a day of the strike.

While these conflicting stories may seem ridiculous to the average person, what people don’t understand is that Russia’s purpose is not to get people to believe any one particular lie, but to simply muddy the water with so many versions of the story, that the actual truth just becomes one of many possible explanations. The idea behind modern Kremlin misinformation campaigns is the hope that people will eventually conclude it is impossible to know what actually happened, giving equal weight to lies and the truth.

They don’t need people to believe the lie, just to doubt the truth.

    1. @Hot File Yes, I saw a figure of something like 8 trillion a year spent by them . Sad part is that %99is so pathetic. Talk about not getting your money’s worth 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🌻

  10. He thinks that by saying Russians have the ability to “see what is where” so therefore they don’t need to fire indiscriminately, that it somehow removes their culpability, his bald faced lying and blatant twisting of what every thinking person on the Planet can see for themselves to be the facts, just beggars belief. He seriously thinks that just by saying something, that it is the only reality that counts, it’s how he deals with his country, what he says is the one and only reality and any opposition to that view is deemed “anti-him” so must be destroyed, incarcerated or labelled as the “enemy”.
He is a seriously revolting human being.

  11. This missile strike on the mall together with strikes else where in your Country are horrendous and truly barbaric.WW2 all over again. Sincere condolences from Canada to the people of Ukraine.
I believe, that this strike could be a tipping point, what persons in there right mind could support this Butchery. who were hesitant should finally be convinced there is no way you can negotiate with Russians and that they need to be stopped. NATO ,The EU, and the UN, along with the whole world needs to step up and be way more aggressive in all matters dealing with Russia. Destroying all life by anyone on this planet is truly insane.

  12. God bless you brave Ukrainian soldiers, and keep up your wonderful sense of humor in these hard times. My hate for Putin and Russia has reached a point where I hope they make the misstake to invade a NATO country. I would love to see the 32 NATO countries wipe out Russia, just like the allies wiped out Nazi-Germany. Russia would likely thrive into a prospoerous democratic country with happy citizens if they got rid of communism and dictatorship. Greetings from Sweden as proud new NATO members.

  13. I’m a Veteran and if that hit a weapons warehouse then that explosion should have looked a million times bigger! Okay maybe not a million times bigger but you understand what I meant.

    1. I like the way you exaggerated and then withdrew it. You know you can edit these comments? 😁😉

  14. Such an evil liar! So many war crimes under his watch and by his order but I’d expect no less from the former leader of the KGB! I hope this conflict comes to a end soon and one day he is held accountable for his evil deeds!

  15. Putin need’s stopped and stopped quickly before this escalates any further. This is unbelievable. 💙💛💙

  16. GOD WILL bring the Russians to court. God knows EVERYTHING. It sees, it feels, it hears every single thing! They are NOT getting away with ANYTHING. THEY WILL BE PUNISHED for their CRIMES against humanity and against animals AND against nature.

    1. @Dave E. God is above all religions. Religions are just multiple versions of man’s perception of God. Conciessness proof of God, Love, miracles, coincidences, dreams, visions, the brain, the central nervous systems, immune system. God is the air we breathe. The breath of life. Religions are just man written books

    2. @Dave E. the truth is subjective for both of us without observable facts to prove otherwise. So we’re both wrong and right

  17. “Our army does not attack any civilian infrastructure”. Right up there with the greatest lies ever told.
