Select Committee Will Follow Evidence To Whomever It May Lead Says Rep. Murphy

The Capitol insurrection testimony of police officers who were attacked is discussed by Rep. Stephanie Murphy, who serves on the Jan. 6 select committee. She tells The ReidOut, ‘What you saw today was four members of hundreds of people in law enforcement that did fight back that day. Those stories were just incredible.’

    1. @ExposedRoot screw that. Every last MAGAt involved in Jan 6 insurection should be in Guantanamo Bay STAT!

    2. @Zaynab bint Al-Harith The Senate had NO power to do anything more than remove him from office. Learn to LAW before you make stupid comments, traitor!

    3. @Fat Freddy’s Cat I agree. I’m talking about the juvenile “orange ” comment. But then you probably don’t get what I’m saying considering your juvenile “Magot” comment.

  1. “There’s no question, none, that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day,
    ~ Moscow Mitch McConnell.

    1. @My opinions are secretly facts oh no sir, your ridiculous avatar of a name is oxymoronic and I just wanted to factually tell you…

      Carry On!

    2. @FRAG OUT That’s one reason I chose the name – the farcical value. The other reason is to remind myself always that my opinions have to have some factual basis that can be backed up with proper research, unless they’re obviously personal opinion (as in the original comment), because so many responders these days just throw out random inflammatory diatribe for the clicks, and that does no one any good.
      Anyway, good day to you.

  2. Jan 6th happened no amount of spin can change that, we have eyes, and more importantly, we have a voice.

    1. You have a voice to attack “suspected” insurgents, which might be you depending upon who is watching.

“We have a voice” is inciting

    2. @Zaynab bint Al-Harith
      Nice try.
Stop snorting the koolaid and sober up already.

And you’re dismissing actual insurgents. Try to focus.

  3. An Act Of War
    To Over Throw Constitutional Law,
Even With A ROE Allowing Only Primitive Weapons,
IS Still An Act Of War, And Thereby An Act of Treason.

    1. Because they don’t want you to see it.

They are hiding information from you, yet you trust them not to be tyrants

    1. Its actually gonna be Pelosi. Schiff is also involved. Republicans will have the House in 2022, I like to hear under oath why wasn’t the capital police prepared, there was a warning in advance.

    2. @Kjoyce Nunya I’m aware. Bush should have been thrown under Leavenworth to rot. Fast forward to the Capitol riot and tell me who was responsible for security. Who failed those police??Nancy Pelosi is to blame. This is only an attempt to try for a third time to convict Trump. 2022, after Nervous Nancy loses her seat, she can testify under oath along with Adam Schiff. I’m willing to bet suicide rates spike in D.C.

    3. @Donnie Crosby It’s almost like the President is the one in charge of the Capitol Police.

Oh, but I’m trying to apply logic to a crazy person.

  4. McCarthy says it’s a sham that has a foregone conclusion. Well sham, no, but only a foregone conclusion in the sense that you’ve got a man with a smoking gun standing over a corpse yelling “I did it.”

    1. It is a sham because the people on charge are going to use this as an attack on people they don’t like.

Speech they consider “inciteful” they will use against you.

Plus, don’t forget because YOU pushed this, when the Republicans get back in power this precedent will be used against you.

This is opening the door to tyranny.

    1. @Zaynab bint Al-Harith
We want to prevent it from happening again.
The former guy is still stoking the fires.

  5. LET’S SEE HOW DEEP THE REPUBLICAN-/ MAGA “RABBIT HOLE,” CAN BE!
145 GOP House Reps. Voted AgaInst this Investigative Committee!
    ———- TRUTH & JUSTICE!——

    1. Because the Republucans saw how you are exploiting it to attack people in…let’s say Nebraska…who voted Red but did not support or attend the riot.

You are a tyrant and the Republicans will use this as a precedent to come after you.

    2. @Zaynab bint Al-Harith
Brandon Straka, 44, (Omaha, Nebraska) on a federal warrant related to the storming of the Capitol.
“Urged others to take a police officer’s shield and pushed forward with the crowd” the FBI says.
Impeding a law enforcement officer during civil disorder.
Knowingly entering and remaining on restricted grounds without lawful authority and/or engaging in disorderly conduct within proximity to a restricted building to impede official functions; and
Engaging in disorderly conduct with intent to disturb a hearing before Congress.

  6. tug a few strings, pull a few more, and where this insurrection shall lead will reveal the guilty, complicit & the deep chasm of conspiracy to undermine the rule of law and the US Constitution.

    1. The guilty are already arrested.

What you want is to attack the moderates who voted Red, were against the riot, but question the government reach.

      This makes you a fascist.

  7. Can’t wait till investigation leads to republicans…..then we’ll see the rats, gnawing on each other!!

  8. Great looking outfit Tiffany Cross from me to you in southern Colorado. It’s been a tough, very exhausting day! The best way to deal with this…. is to just be shocked and …then just listen! Thank you for this reporting job MSNBC!! Yup! 🦩🦩🦩🦩🦩🐋🐓🐓

  9. Just wondering can we maybe go back to being a nation without the responsibility of nursing Trump’s daily need for attention and glorification? That seems like it would be cool. I realize narcissism, self-righteousness, conspiracy theories and empty promises is apparently very attractive to many Americans but if we could go back to using our intellect that would be real great.

  10. Sen. McCain is smiling upon this effort. I can see him giving a thumb’s down on GOP efforts to whitewash 1-6 and the near destruction of the American experiment. Shameful.

  11. If you want to know who did this, ask the republicans. They already know, which is why they don’t want the investigation.
