It’s funny that Democrats who used the filibuster to block the civil rights movement now want to get rid of it. “Democrats used the filibuster for exactly that purpose when Republicans were working to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964.” They also didn’t have a problem using the filibuster 314 times during Trump’s presidency to attempt to block his policy.
