    1. @Jomo Hector ShaCarri definitely has more speed than them. She just needs to focus and put in the training. She is easily a consistent 10 .7 runner. She just lost focus after the trials. It doesn’t matter who you are, if you’re not training properly and consistently then you’re not going to beat top athletes who are putting in the work

    2. @Barrybel I wouldn’t say constant, most of her 10:7s have been on that fast track at Oregon I think it’s 3 times on the same track if I’m not mistaken, 10:75 10:78 & 10:72 the jury is out on her dropping fast times any where else so we will be patiently waiting for next years season, looking forward to it!

    1. well perhaps but I doubt it, she is not as confident as she was after that last place and she was nervous going knowing that she was going against a field of athlete that she had no chance of winning after not competing for over a month. I did some research on to why weed maybe a Band substance, depending on the amount you use it can help you relax just enough for a athlete to get an optimal performance, giving them a edge over other athlete with little or no effort as we know in sprint too much nerves or overthinking can be detrimental and I think she wasn’t doing much training in the lock down.

    2. Weed is definitely NOT a masking agent. The whole weed story was probably a LIE. She tested positive for something more serious which would have got her a 4 year ban and embarrassed USA Track & Field and Nike. She got depressed and slacked off on her training because she didn’t think she could compete effectively without the PEDs.

The masking agent idea is ridiculous but seems to have a life of its own.

    3. @Chris Sicaras makes sense. Similar to the situation with FloJo. They gave her the option to retire and keep the gold and record or be banned for awhile but continue to run. They even caught Carl Lewis and took his explanation that it was cold medicine, they didn’t want to tarnish the facade’ of US and sponsor image.

    4. @Chris Sicaras They do have a history of protecting their athletes, but I’m not willing to go ghat far as yet.
      Time will tell though…

  1. That’s the difference between Bush league And champions league when she a run against puppies she bad but when The Big dogs Dem run out she can’t bark

    1. @Marie vassell Trust me, it’s true
After the first race she said… ” it’s only 1 race she’s not done” she got beaten by jamaican again..
Now tell me if this was you… Wouldn’t you feel some type of way?

    1. @Deadmanlyndon Yea obviously you havent not read the entire convo. My initial statement was “21 years old. Name another 21 year with as much potential?” THe other guy immediatly went into hate mode, discounting any facts I put out. I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT WHAT KIND OF PERSON Yall THINK SHE IS. Im talking about potential. So please explain and quote me where you figure I have limited track knowledge and Im immature.

    2. @Kadian Wynter yea not racing for 8 weeks will make anyone lose fitness. It’s her fault, but she should be fine next year, hopefully

    3. Hmmm…. she may gave potential but we will be able to decipher by next year if it’s the “weed” that was aiding and abetting. She may have run fast before but 21 SFP was already Olympic champion and world champion the following year running 10.7+. Sha’c has a long way to go and a lot to prove to substantiate all the hype.

  2. It is widely believed that weed is used to mask other performance enhancing substances, so maybe it’s more than the weed that’s missing.
