    1. You forgot that China passed the pandemic’s peak 2 months ago (at the beginning of March). In addition, China is also very confident in their control over the 2nd (or 3rd) wave. Chinese people also follow the government guidance closely, e.g. wear masks everywhere. Time for them to return to (almost) normalcy. LIFE MOVES ON!

  1. Can’t wait to ride the covid rollercoaster with grandma and grandpa to make the economy great again.

    1. @Sneeky Pete Two fish are in a tank, one says to the other “how do you drive this thing?”

    2. Shame on Obama for undermining President Trump’s campaign. That’s called election interference.

  2. Let’s jump back in the illusion people 😉 to blind the truth. Some love to live in a fantasy. Stay safe you all 🙏🏻

  3. I just want people to know that DOMESTIC cases are down to 0 for about a month, the number of the new cases is all imported, which those ppl will go straight to 14 days mandatory quarantine when they landed, the whole country is reopened, guess the US news didn’t tell you that.
So stop saying this is dumb, we took the quarantine very seriously.

    1. Bottle Gang
PREACH! So embarrassed for us! Especially since no one has been able to tell me, where exactly do dead people shop? What do they eat? And what bills do they pay? 🤔😳😤🤦‍♀️!

  4. I would rather stay home alone safely than go to a Disney park or, God forbid, travel on their cruise ships

    1. The Blade if you’ve ever been to one of their parks, you’d know that there was always people cleaning constantly. They were everywhere. They just hired more this time

    2. Javier Arroyo Underground Fren… don’t waste your words on the those who would stay hiding in place forever if they could. These sheep will give up every independent thought within seconds.

  5. I’ll return to theme parks once they announce the new Big Bowl of Warm Soapy Water attraction.

    1. The only events that may continue to take place are those bubble runs you always see on Facebook where people are just running through soapy water and bubbles 😂

    2. @Kartik Aman Saraf I play basketball on courts with more than 300 people every Friday since two months ago, actually it is under controlled , believe it or not.

  6. Also see how interconnected US and Chinese economies have become. CEO or operations manager for Shanghai Disney is an American.

    1. @LoboKhan1This was started under GW Bush too, he opened moving to China for cheap labor, initial pressure from technocrats like Steve Jobs and Bill Gates, and when China showed up at the White House with all the Pentagon’s plans it sure didn’t help put GW Bush in an “America First” position. In economics we used to joke about trading bad debt for toxic toys, though its a rather humorless joke. China was forced to buy bad debt as a price for trade, it made a sweet welfare for the rich program that never trickled down. And we got toys covered in lead paint.

    2. @The Blade That glass company has factories in 9 countries. Their workers in China are getting paid the least.

  7. People here(this comment zone) are funny. It’s ok to go to a beach without masks but not okay to go to a park wearing masks.

    1. @Joan Harding it’s not GPS on everyonr. it’s whenever you enter some building, you need scan a QR code and register your time of staying. And it is only for Covid. GPS tracking 1. 4 billion people at real time is basically impossible. About incubation time, yes you are right it could happen the way you described but only when it was widely spreaded. In China that wasn’t the case. Vastly majority cases was in Wuhan or Wuhan people migrated. And after long period strict quarantine time. It was no longer widely spreaded in China. Wuhan was unlocked some where April. Other placed were unlocked long before that due to no case for two weeks at all. one more thing, mask does help when everyone is wearing it.

    2. @She Yu I guess I’m confused if as you say the cases cropping up now are imported. Is everyone coming into the country being quarantined ? Then they would present with the virus within the 2 weeks though I’m not sure how long til the titer or antibody test will be effective. Your body only makes antibodies after it’s had a defensive reaction to an infection and it takes time for there to be enough antibodies to show up on the test.
That’s partly why they are still working on developing good antiboddy tests and they aren’t sure what sort of immunity you will have from the antibodies and how long it will last.
Your doctor won’t test you for lyme disease for at least 2 weeks after you get a tick bite. The antibodies have to have time to develope.
Anyway, virus from outside the country should be caught at the borders but there are still some small flare ups in country. Where are they coming from?
As for the ability to track people I guess I was thinking of facial recognition, downloadable apps, and everyone carrying smart phones.
All these things allow for tracking of individuals.

PS As far as testing for the virus, the nose and throat swabs, there have also been a worrying rate of false negative results. I don’t know the more recent rates but at one point 1 in three had an incorrect result.
I’ve heard as much as 15 to 30% more recently but haven’t checked it lately.
Just remember we know nothing about this virus and it’s effects, symptoms, course etc. We are still learning and data is being updated constantly. Therefore, I take the pronouncements our governments give us about this virus with great scepticism.
They really DO NOT KNOW for sure but they want the economy pumping again. I just don’t feel like having my community ravished for some big company’s profit.

    3. @Joan Harding they arrive China and go mandatory qorentine. During qurentine time, if they tested positive, then they add to Chinese number.

    4. @Joan Harding And for test. Antibody test is for whether you have gotten it. The test for whether you currently have is is nucletide test or that people been saying PCR test. Sure there are fails negative. But each person need to be tested several time negative to be released. It won’t be a huge factor when you have enough time and test. I agree we do not know enough about this v
irus. Myself is a chembio P. hD. and I fully aware how little we know about it. But something we do know is that this virus need host to survive and pass to other people. It won’t live long in air. Thus once everyone have been fully isolated for certain time, the transition chain will be broken and then it no longer circulating in community. It about how strictly the society can stay at home for weeks.

    1. @Charlotte Hatch well… yes… up to the point where your choice may affect others’ health. The other side of that trope is, “Your freedom of choice stops where my nose begins.” Right now, if the choice you make is to go to sit down in a bar or restaurant, if you choose to go get your hair, nails or tattoo done, if you choose to go bowling or to a movie, you are potentially getting exposed to Covid19… a deadly virus with no treatment currently available, except social distancing and common sense precautions like masks.

That means, even if you’re asymptomatic, you’re still flinging contagion all around to others.

Trust me, I get it, this has all been a big disruption. It’s been hard. But the pandemic is far from over, and because it’s still out there, old normal is not coming back for a long time. This is the new normal. I think businesses big and small are trying to think of creative and safe ways to make new normal work. That’s responsible. Other businesses feel the best thing to do is to stay closed or with strictly limited protocols for now. That’s also responsible.

To me, the good intentions of the business community are one thing. It’s individual people, who very easily get sloppy about following rules or guidelines, that I worry about, not to mention those who insist on flagrantly disregarding them altogether. With no treatments, cures or vaccines, human error, hubris and selfishness are some of our biggest adversaries to getting anywhere close to “back to normal.”

    1. @Cyrus Asgari
Hey Cyrus *Can you dig it suckaaaa*
☝🏻that’s my favorite Quote from Cyrus in The Warriors movie

    2. Barack Hussein obummer would be a good Disney character with that transvestite Michelle Obummer 😂

  8. I remember the lines in Disney world were insanely long when you could be shoulder-to-shoulder with people. The lines must be outside the park if you include a 6 foot distance between people.

    1. No cause they limit the number of people who could enter the park. You have to have reservations to enter now. They only allow 25% of the park capacity. It’s actually good cause the rides all have short waits cause less people

    2. @gissneric aww but you’re forgetting the most important part of disney is taking a picture with beautiful princesses. And now they’ll be covered up wearing a mask😫

    3. @Kenny Michael Alanya I guess they can have an Arab themed event so all the princesses will wear face cover anyway
