‘Sometimes I feel pain’: Ukrainian teen explains being injured during war

Serhii Sorokopud, 14, received shrapnel wounds while standing in line for food. Rescuers pulled Genya, 7, from the rubble of an apartment building. These two Ukrainian children carry scars from the months-long war in their country.   2. Obviously this is awful, it makes me so sad to think of the way people are affected by strikes like this; family’s. little kids. I find it just as sad to think that we never hear the stories of families in the middle East affected just as terribly by US artillery strikes
