All the teachers want is livable wages!!
Those numbers are laughable. No wonder so many migrate. How can anyone survive on that salary when inflation is high, and GCT is ridiculous. Fast food restaurants in the many US states pay more than what they are offering to these skilled and educated professionals.
How quickly we forget we used to borrow to pay civil servants now we use our money to pay them we know they should get more but we have a big debt and we want updated infrastructure is a balance so we afto keep that in mind.

Reject that offer! That is nothing, US teachers make way more than what you offer the principal salary. I Love Jamaica where it soon may be my home. We need to pray for this wonderful country. Jamaica people are great people. The United States need to step in help especially with the health care & hospitals. Love you Jamaica hope they give the people in education more $$$$.
