Many Ukrainian citizens are being forced to leave their home as they flee to safety amid the Russian invasion.

Families exchanged heartbreaking goodbyes in Kyiv’s main train station, while Russian troops advanced towards the capital.

The International Organization for Migration says the number of people who have left Ukraine since fighting began has now reached 1.45 million.
