Seriously!! I’ve been thinking much the same thing recently. I live in AZ, and our republican governor is being a royal douchenozzle around any kind of pandemic mitigation measures, and I’m frustrated out of my mind. Then I realized later that day that he’s actually considered a “moderate” republican, especially compared to the absolute circus act that is our selection of republican Congress representatives. When you find yourself mired in the camp of conspiracy theorists, how much is too much? At least at a local level it feels like they’re dragging all the rest of us off a cliff with them as they refuse to introspect or acknowledge facts in any realm.
