TikTok creators react to possible US ban, financial impact | USA TODAY

U.S. officials. worried the Chinese-owned TikTok is spying on Americans and spreading misinformation, are considering banning the app.

TikTok is owned by the Chinese company ByteDance. Scrutiny over TikTok’s relationship with Beijing put the company in the crosshairs during the Trump administration and the Biden administration.

Now, some lawmakers in the U.S., including the Biden administration, are demanding that the app be sold or banned.

    1. ​@Popsicle Ice it has ties to the chinese government & its Military. Its spyware bud. You havent been taking this seriously & need to be informed about the information surrounding tiktok. Just because its a popular app doesnt mean its safe.
