Let’s say the $200K made 2% interest over the time the Foundation had the money. I believe it was accepted in 2016? Interest earned would be ~ $30K over that time period. Is the foundation going to return the $30K also, or give it to a non-profit organization? You know, optics. Also, is not returning the money an addition of guilt? What about the other $800K? I thought the $200K was part of a $1M donation, of which $750K went to fund Pierre Trudeau bursaries @ McGill University, & $50K went to construct a statue of said former PM…. which doesn’t exist! Crooked Vultures.

Last time I checked that’s not how the justice system works. You don’t get to commit a crime and then years later after you have enriched yourself from the proceeds of that crime “pay it back”, and not face consequences.
