Trudeau: The ‘promise of progress’ is key to trust in democracy

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau gave a keynote speech to the Council on Foreign Relations during his trip to New York City, saying that the key strength of democracies is ensuring the "promise of progress" to citizens.

  1. Telling the owners of power that there’s a flaw in democracy is like saying that sugar is sweet 😂…he could avoid his silly speech…his presence to the meeting sufficed to show his obedience.

    1. I love his pauses and shifts in his vocal tones to suggest sincerity.
      They are now a cue for me to stop listening.
      However, it appears some of the Canadian population still just loves his crap.

  2. I can’t remember the last time I so thoroughly agreed with Trudeau…it is really ironic hearing him speak of all the problems he has caused in this manner, however.
