  1. Recently, Ukrainian pilots were assessed by the USAF at an air base in Tuscon, Arizona. The report afterward said they would need only 4 months of training. All air defense systems need to arrive first in order to protect Ukrainian bases that F16’s would operate from. They should be already trained and ready to fly as soon as that happens, though.

  2. The Netherlands is busy replacing its F16s with F35s, so they have 18 F16s in stock and 24 are still operational.

    1. There are 4K F16, many NATO members have them. It’s a great choice and training only takes 4 months or less according to pentagon leak.

  3. F16 is a very good platform, in the right hands. If Ukrainian pilots gel quickly with these aircraft they will be capable of causing untold havoc both in air-to-air, and especially air-to-ground combat. F15 E’s would be more desirable, but lets see how Russian forces get on against F16’s.

    1. Yup. Combining that with the recent influx of high quality tanks and Storm Shadow, Ruzzia is effed.

  4. It sounds like great news all around. The sooner the better.

  5. Since Ukraine has been training on this platform for some time, we should see the first units in combat quite soon. Slava Ukraini!!

    1. Ukrainian air bases are not suitable to support the F-16 at present. Don’t expect them there anytime soon.

    2. @enzo Madonia sigh. No state military attacked us today. Now make some lame border / war analogy.

  6. It’s only a matter of time before Ukraine receives fighter jets. The US might as well move forward on this matter now. ❤ GOD Bless Everyone

  7. It’s about time and this will truly be a big game changer and will help Ukraine to win this war.

  8. 🙏🕊🌻🔱 Excellent Update! Ukraine is Strong! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes! The World Stands Committed with Ukraine! 🔱🌻🕊🙏

  9. The “Accounting Error” was not really an error. It has always been military policy to value items sent to foreign power at their replacement value, not their book value. So, the revaluation was not so much an error, but rather a change in accounting methodology.
