When he made threats to withdraw he was drunk so he had drunk man’s courage. But when he sobered up he realised he might be served some special tea and tried to solve the situation.
Its possible he got enough extra ammo to satisfy his objection to continuing the attack.

No one reporting this news could never imagine the misery and mental stress of being in battle.
One of the reasons why this year’s “Den Pobedi” (Victory Day) celebrations are so scaled down is that a lot of Russians are looking at the footage from 1945, and now are asking “This time around, are we the baddies?” very useful information
The sheer amount of approving and cheering comments by ordinary Russians under videos about the atrocities committed against civilians and prisoners of war in Ukraine were no less shocking to Ukrainians than the war itself.
