Wes Moore: Darnella Frazier Is ‘One Of The Heroes’ Of The Chauvin Trial | Andrea Mitchell | MSNBC

Wes Moore, CEO of the Robin Hood Foundation, joins Andrea Mitchell to discuss the Derek Chauvin trial, where the movement for police reform goes from here, and the courage of Darnella Frazier, the 17-year-old who shot the video seen across the country that was key to Chauvin's conviction. "She is one of the heroes of this," Moore says. "Hearing her talk about this injustice that she was watching right in front of her eyes, that type of weight, trauma, is something that is not just going to be weighted on her, but frankly, has been weighted on a lot of people beforehand." 1. “There’s something happening here
But what it is ain’t exactly clear
There’s a man with a gun over there
Telling me I got to beware” But in this case we all knew what was happening here! Darnela certainly knew! She made this case! Without her video no case. Cops had already lied, Her video exposed the lies!

  1. Ms Frasier is indeed an American hero. 🙌🏼
But the reality here is that it took her video, 9 months of nation-wide protests, and the police to testify against one of their own to reach a conclusion that really is what they should have done from the beginning. And still, the conviction itself was still in doubt.
We got a LOT more to do.

  2. I am PROUD of these young kids to make HISTORY possible god bless you babies who had to see this trama

  3. If it were not for the ability for people to take videos of these situations most of the nation would have remained ignorant of what was happening. My wake up call was the murder of Walter Scott in South Carolina.

  4. If the good cops don’t expose the bad cops , then there are no good cops ! Get vocal good cops across America . Purge your ranks , and make it public , so the people know real change is happening .

    1. Exactly! That’s what I’ve been sayin’. In the past good/reporting cops were ostracized. Calling out bad cops needs to become the norm. Peer review?

  5. Thank God for her neice wanting snacks that put them in the right place at the right time and her phone having enough charge to document this injustice

    1. Your comment sums up all the events that had to happen for the truth to be seen! snacks, phone, full battery and the presence of mind to press record! Truly, Universal energy working!

  6. So McConnell continues to obstruct. The Democrats really need to throw out the filibuster and go for broke because if and when the tables are turned the GOP will and then the house of cards will come toppling down.

  7. That video was basically the perfect 1st person view of the murder from beginning all the way to end

  8. I predict a medal ceremony at the WH.
Biden will honor these fine folks who history will certainly remember as heroes

  9. God bless Darnella Frazier. Hope she lives a long and satisfying life…and continues to do good. Thank you for your work and your bravery. Your efforts have surely helped change the direction of the USA.
