  1. Your daily reminder that Freeland is still in power thanks to Jagmeet Singh and NDP supporting the Liberals.

  2. Asking a person with a journalism background about the economics of an entire country. What a complete clown show happening in Canada.

  3. “Freeland Takes Questions”
    That’s hysterical!!
What would be a real news story is “Freeland Answers Questions”

  4. A better answer, looking at the price of groceries and gas along with much higher interest rates to come, it is a certainty that you will be in a deep recession 🤕

  5. As someone who has been studying the market for a few years, who was calling for a recession if govt spending didn’t slow down back into early 2021 with evidence based thesis. I was laughed at. Look whos prepared and laughing now. From my Analysis of the Budget and our “real” situation it would be a miracle if a “soft landing” occurred, I would put real risk of recession around 75%-80% and it showing up within 12 months (say July 2023).

    1. @Rabindra Rimal Metro van and Toronto thats unlikely to “crash” by 50%, somewhere around 30% from all time high in my opinion. However outside the big cities 50% or more decrease seems reasonable

  6. I’m certain if we were selling our oil to other countries we wouldn’t have to worry about these ridiculous gas prices, or going hungry.

  7. How does studying Russian, Ukrainian and Slavic history and literature qualify someone to be a finance minister?
