    1. @Darth_X immigrants and Canada ARE leaving and if it was as easy as just loading the truck and leaving millions if Canadians would be in the states already.

    2. @Darth_X I’m personally not. I had to leave Clownada when all the Covid nonsense was going on.

  1. They had Canadian passports on them 🤷‍♀So what’s the problem. They didn’t have to cross illegally. This makes no sense.

    1. Maybe they had a feeling that they was unable to exit the country legally, sometimes mental health plays a part in all this.

    2. @TCG Family what does being unvaxed have to do with this? They likely were unvaxed as they didn’t have a stroke or heart attack during their escape.

  2. This is what you get when you say canada welcomes you and its so great!!! but theres no cheap food no cheap rent life is harder in canada jobs dont pay youll be poor an hungry an cold what a life its sad 🙁

  3. I was to the understanding that we had enough of a universal social net (shelters, food distribution, ect.) that it at least elevated beyond risking one’s own life towards a riskier uncertainty. This is disturbing.

  4. Hack Even Canadians are migrating from Canada to Overseas, and they don’t risk their lives and break the law by doing it. There are 4 million Canadians living aboard.

  5. What he says is 100% true. Work permit or these “permits” doesn’t guarantee equal rights between Canadian citizens, Canadian immigrants, or temporary immigrants, overstay immigrants.

The only way to make sure every one has the same rights is turn immigrants permanent resident. That way the abuses from the employers or from the landlords will reduce because, the abusers will think twice before the abuse someone vulnerable “overstay” “illegal” or something like that, because they think “they can take me to court”. If they’re permanent resident.

If they’re not resident permanent, I’d they don’t have the same rights as their employers or landlords, they think “they can’t do nothing about it” “nothing gonna happen to me”
“If they do something about it, I call the immigration on them” simple as that
