Two videos have emerged on pro-Russian social media in the past week that appear to show Russian soldiers beheading Ukrainian soldiers. They didn’t really think this one through. You cut heads off when you’re dominating the battle space, put fear in the hearts and hope more people surrender, causing the conflict to draw down more quickly. Dehumanizing is in the book of commanders (invading side) around the world. The defender on other hand of course have the mental of fighting invaders, always. So it’s not the problem of one person.

We’ve seen similar behavior from Russian/Soviet soldiers during the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in the 80’s. It’s all part and parcel of Russia’s long-standing sadistic military mindset.

Your comment got me Googling why God allows evil and suffering to exist, and these are what I gathered:
-It’s because Adam and Eve rebelled against God.
-Evil and suffering is caused by human upon themselves. God is not responsible for the foolishness of man.
-God’s purposes are beyond our understanding, whatever the game he’s playing with us is unclear, but he is fair and he plays by the rules.
-God wants man to suffer so man learn to turn to God for salvation.
-Good is the opposite of evil. Without evil, good does not exist.
-He wants man to learn edurance so he does nothing about evil and let man struggles.

It’s been almost 24 hours since I saw that video. I couldn’t sleep last night and it’s still a pit in my stomach. I’ve seen cartel executions and ISIS beheadings, but that video was the worst act of atrocity I’ve ever witnessed! He WAS alive and knew he was being beheaded. It took nearly two minutes. I am shook to the core. 😢
I refuse to watch these beheading videos, they stay with you forever.
The Ukrainian soldiers are so brave and have worked so hard to defend their freedom. this here breaks my heart. What type of animal will cut the head off of a human while they’re alive ? This is absolutely sick and I feel so bad for all the Ukrainian people especially zelensky…they need some help.
