@Patrick Drazen Wow, I had no idea of Upton’s relationship to Whirlpool. I have a friend who makes parts for Whirlpool, in SE Michigan. He never had a day off, when 1000s were dying in the area. There were no social distancing measures in place, no PPE. Two of his adult children were at home working, as was his wife. I felt so bad for them, worrying about him, and everything anyone touched. Nothing was known about the virus then. Our hospitals were overflowed, Drs. and Nurses had no PPE. Does that sound like an Upton decision?
I can’t understand why we allow politicians like Fred Upton to stay in office for 17 terms to only retire when they’ve amassed enough wealth from insider knowledge/trading (Kelly Loeffler) and produce little to nothing for the people in their districts. Senator Mitch McConnell is 78yrs old running for re-election and he’s been in office since 1985. The state he represents (Kentucky) is amongst the worst in every category especially education and poverty but he’s extremely wealthy. Wth
