    1. this will literally cost the consumer more money as usual. but no, drink the kool aid. All of these taxes imposed onto corporations will be passed down to us.

    2. @Rick Deckard So, are you saying that the corporations should make billions in profits and pay 0 income tax?

  1. Wait, is he saying government is supposed to work for all of us and not for isolated demographics? Well that would be convenient

    1. @GenXer do you speak English because I don’t know what you are trying to say. Did “me” build those in cave man times?

    2. @GenXer you clearly can’t spell so I doubt you own any businesses. If you’re retired then you don’t have any argument because you won’t be paying these taxes. I pay my 25% in taxes. I’m not sure you even understand this bill because you can’t read it.

    3. @Marvin Westmaas I view most stations. But FOX is #1. ABC comes in distantly as second, and CNN is almost at the bottom.

    4. @William Gum I corrected your spelling. Now you pointed out you don’t read very well. Built and sold? You’re right I don’t own. Me & my friend are getting ready to open a new gun shop. I do pay taxes. We’ll both pay being consumers. I think you’re HB’s are making you a little emotional today. I’m done here. Thanks.

    1. Hmmmm, e eryine has a right to good Healthcare, good geverment gas a moral obligation to provide it

That’s the difference between decent people and the GOP who are obviously not

  2. In the past many people that had cancer had to file bankruptcy because of the medical bill. Shameful.

    1. You are confusing cause and effect. Expanding Medicaid helped millions, and health care expenses are insane, but have been growing for decades. In part due to rising costs, in part because no one wants to die, and when your health declines, you want to restore it to a lost baseline. No easy answers.

    2. How does buying more expensive pills help Cancer patients? “Negotiate prices” means Medicare can buy from China.

    1. @JT 7 Have you considered that unemployment is low because a lot of people are working 2 and 3 jobs in order to pay their bills????

    2. @Lyle Carpenter Some people are working 2 and 3 of those jobs to pay their bills. So, these July jobs don’t mean much. Generally, just part-time seasonal employment.

    1. Pretty sure they won’t. Hope you like paying more in taxes and are ready for more inflation because that is exactly what is going to happen whether you like it or not … that’s the truth.

    1. @O P 1933 it started 1971 was a crusher for the dollar value. Today any solution would be temporary and not “real”. America has been being sold out for decades. There’s only on real solution. I don’t think Americans are ready or even capable, tbh. We’re teetering, Fiat dollar could collapse or not I don’t know. Worst I’ve ever seen it. I could go on for hrs in great detail including energy tech.
Corporations will pay tax raise prices on products/services and the consumer will pay. Corporations aren’t gonna eat that money. Climate change and the last 10 years is hours too. It does generate huge revenue tho.

    2. @O P That didn’t answer my question I want to know stuff about Biden not Trump he is boring to me

  3. I can think of a better place for that pen than Manchin’s hand. He and Sinema may have cost us the House and Senate!!

    1. 👋 👋 How are you doing today if i may ask? I pray this day brings more happiness, joy, prosperity love and peace 💞❤️🕊️🕊️ all over the world today 🙏🌍
I’m originally from Canada currently living in Key West Florida☀️☀️☀️☀️and you where are you from if i may ask?💭💭

  4. President Biden’s face handing Manchin the first pen after he signed the bill into law 😂 it was priceless.

  5. Way to go Joe! And keep up the “EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN VOTED AGAINST THIS BILL” drumbeat right up to the midterms and the 2024 elections!

    1. @gary quarty Don’t celebrate until this bill is fact-checked. The middle class will pay the bulk of this bill, and small businesses.

  6. I’m thankful to hear from two American’s today that made me know there is hope and work to do, you and Liz Chaney. I am American first and last, party is another conversation.

    1. Your own words are a contraddiction… because your support only leans one way (Liberal), thus you have elevated your political party over country.

  7. Well look at that. The things he said he cared about and would do getting ticked off one by one – maybe not as big as we needed, but by God he’s getting things done.

  8. The special interests still won. But at least this bill give us some hope that we’re moving in the right direction. There’s still much to be done. This gives citizens a reason to vote for a better future.

  9. “Progress does come. Your dad was right!” We take so many steps backwards for every small step forward, I have my doubts.

  10. God bless President Biden and all who voted for the Inflation Reduction Act!
Thank you God for moving America and the world forward!
