    1. @Elizabeth Stanley I still haven’t heard your argument to explain away the top secret documents. So let’s hear it!

  1. I want to personally thank DT and his idiotic lawyers for nonstop blabbing which further incriminates them. Good job! Keep blabbing!

    1. @MuchoEd Read the affidavit. Notice it references 3 criminal statutes.

      Read these criminal statutes:

      18 U.S. Code 2071
      18 U.S. Code 793
      18 U.S. Code 1519

Notice that none of these laws make any mention of classified material. Whether the materials were classified or not, or if they were ever declassified, is irrelevant.

Notice that Trump has confessed to violating the first two: By claiming the documents he had were privileged, he admitted he had them. By claiming the documents he had were privileged, he ALSO admitted he withheld those same records when asked to return them (since his argument is that he didn’t return them due to said executive privilege). He has no executive privilege – he’s not the executive.

Hopefully that will answer your questions.

    1. @Elizabeth Stanley She stood up and was accountable. She never pled the fifth. She didn’t have any “memory lapses.” She was an ethical leader. Whereas trump pled the fifth more times than I can count…so he wouldn’t incriminate himself. You know, like a criminal.

    2. @LJ I agree with that but it isn’t what he said. He is blaming the “three branches of govt” which is ridiculous.

  2. Why? Why? People stop acting like we don’t know wtf he was doing!
Documents would of gave him leverage against US government in response to indictment of Jan 6th consequences, this was last week’s of presidency.
This was a very unorganized and poorly executed last minute plan to avoid accountability

  3. If I a citizen walk into the archives and attempt to walk out with the Declaration of Independence, a document for public viewing, I would be arrested immediately. Here, these are stolen classified documents by a citizen that were accessible by anyone who visited his resort and yet he remains free. Good grief.

  4. Oh for crying out loud, throw this traitorous criminal in jail already! How many laws must he break, how many crimes must he commit before justice takes over? It’s illegal to have these documents, period. He broke the law, period. He should be arrested, period. Wtf am I missing here?

    1. And an entire party complicit in crimes against America. He was not operating alone. Never forget that.

  5. “Just say it was corrupt and leave the rest to me and the REPUBLICAN Congressmen” – Donald Trump to the DOJ

    1. @PeaceLoveHarmony I am finding that too. I ask my Trumpster friends if they are watching the hearings and they “say some of it”
What if it was a family member on trial . Would they say the same thing. ?

  6. Mind blowing, this is unprecedented. United state of America 🇺🇸 has tolerated too much nonsense from this man and it’s time he’s put in his place once and for all!

  7. Another reason why it is a joke to say that ‘everyone is equal under the law’, why does anyone in the justice system have to bend over backward for a guy that was clearly breaking the law, knew it, lied about it then tried to obstruct? At what point will it be proven to the American people that everyone is equal under the law?

  8. If you work at Walmart, and take home blank writing paper, without permission, you’re getting charged with theft at the least!

  9. That’s like saying “you should expect to find drugs, he’s a drug dealer” what a horrible defense team..

  10. Trump saying “you should’ve expected classified documents” is hilarious after two weeks of him claiming said documents were both “planted” and “declassified”.

Trump lies so much he has no idea which way is up or down anymore

    1. The saddest part of the whole thing is; you see many gullible crazies believe every single nonsense he spews out.

    2. Unfortunately that goes for a whole lot of people who apparently don’t consider inconsistent,.. relevant, or haven’t noticed.

  11. “I didn’t have those top secret documents lying on the floor. I hid them in boxes.” — Donald Trump defending himself

    1. Laying them all over the floor is ridiculously reckless!! I put them in a unsecured room & let people go in & out, mishandling them & sending off documents to our adversaries

  12. It’s super disheartening how many ignorant, WILLFULLY IGNORANT, people we have in the country.
Willing to throw their lives away, for a 76 year old conman.
    What a life. Yikes 😬…

  13. “Tonight, I say this to GOP who are defending the indefensible – there will come a day when Donald Trump is gone, but your dishonor will remain

    1. Cheryl,
You are right, that stink will hang around
them, for the rest of their ( short let’s hope) time in office!
Stay Safe, Stay Strong, Vote Carefully, Be Cool ,Be True, Vote Blue,Remove and Improve, Help Others please!

  14. “We cannot have someone in Oval Office who doesn’t understand meaning of ‘Confidential’ and ‘Classified’ ” – Donald Trump 2016

  15. The fact that trump refuses to see the significance of his actions should disqualify him from running for federal public office at any level.

  16. The fact that a undercover government agent was shown these documents and could give there exact location in his office means he was showing them to anyone interested or he thought might be interested in that information they contain. This is the biggest case of espionage the US has faced.
