  2. They announcing robot dog again because the NYPD has been in so much scrutiny lately they need people to forget it.

  3. What a colossal waste of MONEY! What can this robotic dog actually DO that a human or REAL dog cannot? The answer is absolutely nothing! The price tag available online is $74,500. That price does not include maintenance, programming or the salary of the human operators. Stupid voters in NY deserve this utter waste. I am sure that a lot of palms got greased.

    1. @MishaPilsudski I served 21 years in NYPD and I have seen these money grabs up close. These robots made by Boston Dynamics and others were originally intended for working in mines and other hazardous places to detect poisonous gas and other hazardous conditions. Someone got the idea to make these robots look like dogs and figured they could sell them as law enforcement assets. Read the fable “The Emperor’s New Clothes” Then you will see that this story should be called “The Emperor’s New Robot.” Nothing here but an expensive toy where some people get wealthy and the public gets duped.
