  1. This is so sad! They should compensate the people for their loss! The company should replenish the river with frys.

  2. Where are the authority to prosecutor the perpetrator? A want unuh nuh want do it are a can’t unuh can’t do it?

  3. There is no justice against nature in this country. It’s a shame to the meaning of Jamaica: Land of Wood and Water. NWC was taking water from the RioCobre, so why are we not hearing about this? Kingston and St. Catherine is in danger from this spill?

  4. How can one company commit such criminal acts so many times and is still doing business in Jamaica? Windalco needs to be evicted from the island. They need to compensate the residents for loss of livelihood. If anyone gets sick, the need to be sued and take care of all medical expenses. If anyone dies, their family needs to be compensated. They need to pay for the damages done to the environment. It’s not enough to sue them. They also need to leave the country. I hope that they will not be able to buy their way out of this one because a lot of our leaders are for sale. That’s why there’s so much corruption in the country. They got away with it because they were allowed to get away with it.
Jamaica needs to invest in mining It’s own bauxite. If someone comes into your yard for 40 years and is using the things in your yard to operate a profitable business, at what point do you ask if this is something that you can do yourself and what will it take to do it? Get dem outa di country. Nuh gi dem no more chance. Four years in a row! No man. Enough is enough.
