Even the military generals say china using nukes would be extremely unlikely. Notice that when we talk about defending Taiwan from China, they never threaten to use Nukes. China just gives a strongly worded email saying don’t make this worse. China will always try to hold the moral high ground.
We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort.
China’s ability to dictate anything to the Kremlin is very limited. China’s desire in all of this is stability. As such they don’t want to see regime change or any instability in their northern border. But I’m pretty damn certain they weren’t happy with what happened a year ago.. this is because in addition to the above, they really didn’t want the West to be on the ball when and if China decided to do its move on Taiwan. In addition to all that China does not appreciate nuclear sable rattling, and they don’t like being put in the position where they have to make very difficult choices between a neighbor who gives them resources and the rest of the world who gives them money

China has a peace plan and wants to show leadership.. but it’s getting prosperous through the war in Ukraine. Boosting its supply of goods to Russia with its short fall in trade with the west.
If china introduced it’s own sanctions on Russia Putin would have no choice but to go to the negotiating table. Even if it was a short term sanction or embargo of goods.
Will this happen? No..
