    1. Only the same people who would fail to anticipate, worldwide dancing in the streets, if a certain geriatric, regurgitated in his sleep and suffocated himself before morning yes?

  1. In America, people serve at the “pleasure of the President.” In Russia, people LIVE at the pleasure of the President.

  2. Where I work, classified documents are inside a 3.5 inch thick vault.
If you violated the handling rules, the manager will simply tell you to find a good lawyer because you’re going to jail in less than three months.

  3. BREAKING NEWS: Putin has formally offered to be the Special Master, since he’s already reviewed all the documents and could expedite the process.

  4. The long walk off a short window sill is a common execution technique in Russia. It’s very easy to make it a suicide and not much can go wrong. Yep, it’s the FSB.

  5. This isn’t really anything new though, is it? Failing sociopaths often start eating their own when it all hits the fan.

    1. I agree.Yes they do. That’s exactly what happens when you see on TV someone that commits murder suicide. They kill their significant other and sometimes even their children. In this case it’s on a grander scale. I feel for the Russian people under his rule. If such a prominent wealthy person can just be executed like this what hope does the average Russian citizen have?

  6. If I were an oligarch, I would always request a hospital room on the first floor. The windows on the upper floors seem to be defective.

    1. @Dolly Schwall True, but a hidden camera would be the best way to display the truth. Oligarches are now going to avoid being sick. Good luck to them

    2. @S Ro And “suicide” in that part of the world is like having the sniffles in other parts. Especially among anyone who dares comment on Putin’s policies.

  7. The hospital window was opened for “Special” purpose. Unfortunately the patient experienced the “Special” falling and untimely “Special” death.

  8. It is all turning a bit into a LeCarrè novel. All these ‘outspoken’ opponents are being defenestrated left, right and centre.

    1. True. And not much change in tactics to get rid of any opposition. No high tech involved, it’s important for people to know exactly what has happened, with an on purpose thinly veiled denial.

    2. Yes, kudos on the excellent use of “defenestrated.” (A word I just notice that spellcheck does not like, so I had to override the poor dear.)
It likes “fenestrated” though –nice architectural exterior windows — not thugs drugging and heaving a man in the way out the window of a tall hospital.

    3. @stephen ashton I remember I looked up the word defenestrated years ago, and it came with an old timey Middle Ages looking image of a guy being heaved out of a tower window like a drunk being tossed from a saloon in the old West. It was magnificent.

  9. I assume the Secret Service’s missing texts from January 5/6, 2021 must have fallen out of a hospital window, too??? What a crying shame.

  10. As a European I wholeheartedly support the sanctions imposed on Russia. But I don’t understand why anyone is surprised that they strike back using oil and gas? What would you do if you were cornered?

    1. @Alexor which expert said that and when? As for the Russian market, as I said it’s walking straight off the cliff. Counting on China, which has long wanted the natural resources to it’s north, is an insane thing to do. They’re gonna buy Russia out from under it by keeping it somewhat solvent until pulling support would create devastation.

As for political unrest, the west is much more able to weather such problems as people do have the choice to change leaders, which Russia does not. Oligarchs aren’t mysteriously dying in the west for mere dissent. The west is much more adaptive in it’s social constructs and can quickly turn a corner if the situation calls for it.

Russia has shot itself in the foot and is too arrogant to admit it. As I said, they needed a quick win. They didn’t get it and were never going to get it. They’ve now exposed their military as substandard and the clock is ticking before the costs of an extended campaign cripple it. And it will have deserved it for allowing their rights to be stolen by their own government all over again.

    2. @Alexor .. I will agree that it will obviously not be at the same price, even Norwegian gas that is pipelined directly to Poland and Germany through Denmark will not be at the same price, but still much cheaper than the liquefied gas market that Russia have no chance to join in a financial profitable way, simply because they do not have the capacity or the ability to give the discounts, not to forget that Russia itself are sea locked both in the Black Sea and Baltic Sea by NATO (Turkey and Denmark) and so making a deal with Iran about moving oil and gas is totally out of the question.

No bad feelings from Denmark to the Iranians here (or Persians as I would prefer), but Russia chose to make themselves our prime near-by enemy and Denmark is both the original tribe and native birth cradle of the Anglo/Angles/Angels, while the Russians are of the original tribe and people of slaves (both by birth right and as in the modern meaning of the word, which originally had nothing to do with black people) while the original Rus’ were originally the Rus’ tribe that came from Sweden and Finland and were invited to rule the Slaves. They now finally have run out of patience with Russia and are joining NATO.

Putin’s take on a 1,000 years of (Rus’) Russian history and culture is fairy tale bogus nonsense and excuse to rebuild a highly oppressive dictatorship Empire, because Ukrainians are the original Rus’ and slaves, so they have earned their right to their freedom and to be liberated, and this has really nothing to do with a Russia vs. Anglo-American USA, even if the USA do feel a great need to support this military wise.

  11. All these suicides out windows… and it’s never mentioned whether the window was open or closed at the time yes?

Don’t remember the last time I was in a hospital that the windows even open…… always air conditioned. It’s not like you’re living in an apartment building.

In the west….. wide open windows that can be leaped out of, on upper hospital floors, is not a thing.
