When we think of herbs we more than often think of backyard gardening, consuming the brewed leaves for the occasional cup of tea or medicine.

What if we told you that growing herbs is part of a trillion dollar industry and local farmers could cash in on some of that money?
Our GIS News team caught up with a local producer of herbal teas who says her demand for herbs is more than she can supply and that’s where local farmers have the opportunity to gain a steady stream of income.
