On Thursday April 4, 2019, GIS visited the community of Kingshill where employees of the Public Works Corporation were engaged in road resurfacing works.

The MV Carnival Triumph made its inaugural and only call to Dominica for the 2014/2015 cruise season.
It was welcomed in musical style on Wednesday February 18th at the Roseau Cruise Ship Berth.

GIS Dominica: Restoring Access between Delices and Boetica


Government has taken action to restore access between Boetica and Delices since Tropical Storm Erika exposed a gigantic gorge separating the two communities.

The communities remain cut off from the rest of the island following the collapse of the Boetica crossing on August 27.

The Labour Party Administration has continually sought to improve the housing conditions of Dominicans.

The Housing Revolution Programme has moved to yet another level. For the first time under the Programme, two apartment complexes have been built to accommodate low income families.
