Do you understand what a C.P. A. is? It is an honorable profession just as is a doctor or an attorney. Their job is to take advantage of the vast and ever changing tax codes set forth from lawmakers and the IRS. It is not a scam; it’s how our free enterprise system works. It’s what keeps our economy running.
We can change it and go with a simple flat tax system if you like; but the money STILL has to be taxed from the middle class either way you go. And it would make it less attractive to those who hold the money used for venture capital that give the jobs to the middle class. (-make bricks without straw!). Why should they use their money if the profits will just be stolen from them? They don’t need it; you do! They can sit at home and make nothing, and pay zero taxes; and you will end up sitting at home broke. Then who’s going to support you if they have to do the same?
