Re: Security guards – There needs to be additional safeguards in place to protect them while they’re on the job and while they change shifts. They don’t get paid enough for the kind of work they do. My heart breaks for their families and friends. It’s a tough job.
Security Guards are seen as (DISPENSABLE), small wages with little to no benefits. Security personnel’s should be given the same benefits such as a policeman, risking your life to safe guard a next man property and life and most not even treated with respect 🫡

The government alone cannot solved all the crimes problem. It takes everyone on board. It takes the gunmen mothers and baby mama, that’s shielding them and washing their bloody clothes, taking their blood money, and also friends and other relatives. The Jamaican people need to say enough is enough and give up those involved in Scamming and murdering people, because the people are more than the gunmen. But some of them respect gunmen more than law and order.
As a nation we have to stand together on all levels instead of being critical and criticizing actions that has positive results. Yes the SOE is a short term approach to crime but the Prime Minister has to take drastic measures to curve crime while going in the christmas Holiday. The living in a glass house and throwing stone is a perfect example when the people in Gregory Park that is getting their house torch and hiding under their bed cause of gun shots is ignored. At this point the criminals are aiming at the less fortunate thats the reason we don’t want this issue to escalate where everybody even in people in high places life is at stake. We have to work together as a team to get this situation under control.
