  1. I don’t care about his politics. Sad to hear someone die in an accident. RIP and condolences to his family.

  2. I strongly disagreed with most of his votes, but it’s never good to see a loved one die so suddenly. I send my wishes to his family and friends

    1. @Mr. Snrub apparently, police have seen no indication that anybody else was nearby or were involved in the accident,so apparently, enzi somehow lost control of the bike & fell, suffering a broken neck & multiple broken ribs,he never regained consciousness & died “peacefully “last night surrounded by family & friends at a trauma hospital in loveland ,Colorado ,which is roughly a 270 mile helicopter ride from his home in gillette,Wyoming

    2. @Rottweiler Smith Exercising? Enjoying life? Just because he was 77 didn’t mean he couldn’t have a life.

  3. Wear proper gear. Everyone always thinks I look goofy but I’ve been been in horrific accidents and walked away without a scratch. In fact a few months ago I was charging down a bike path and had to dodge some debris around hairpin turn I ended up having to go off the trail and there was a log I had to hit it head on you never want to hit a log at an angle and I flipped over and landed on my back. Especially when you get older it’s very easy to break bones. Trust me or either find out the hard way.

    1. A helmet and kneepads doesn’t stop 2 ton cars from killing you. Because you aren’t wearing a helmet isn’t an excuse for a bad driver killing a cyclist.

  4. It’s ironic that he died doing something that improves ones health, thereby extending their life.
Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
From USA Today: “Enzi had been hospitalized with a broken neck and ribs after a bicycle accident near Gillette on Friday. He was stabilized before being flown to a hospital in Colorado but remained unconscious, D’Onofrio said.
Enzi fell near his home about 8:30 p.m. Friday, family friend John Daly said, around the time Gillette police received a report of a man lying unresponsive in a road near a bike.”

    1. You can’t stop bad drivers from doing their things.

Well, you can but nobody has the guts to implement them.

  5. Republicans will be horrified to learn that the cause of his tragic death was identified following a solemn investigation. Why wasn’t Jim Jordan given an opportunity to screw things up and blame Nancy Pelosi?

  6. Where is the call for better walking/cycling infrastructure so that motorists aren’t excused for murdering cyclists/pedestrians.
