  1. The fact that we’ve been sending soldiers to fight the drug war since Reagan should tell us that we might need a different approach than brute force.

    1. @Pamela Wing agreed- Drugs are still and have come into the USA from all around. The hash I smoked a long time ago all came from Mexico..
      good stuff..😁Now I just make it myself😁

    2. This has taught paramilitary skills to the drug cartels and armed them making Mexico much more dangerous!

  2. Country of origin should never be held against anyone, even in running for such a high office as U.S. senator.
But, a candidate for U.S. senate holding “dual citizenship” is a legitimate complaint, specifically regarding loyalty when the dual loyalties are in conflict.
That candidate’s continuing to vote in another country’s elections adds to the reasonableness of voters being reluctant to vote for that candidate.
That said, both Trump and Pompeo are loyal to themselves, and disloyal to America without conscience when there is the slightest conflict with loyalty to themselves.

    1. Well, at the VERY LEAST, the candidate for a Senate seat in Pennsylvania should be A LEGAL RESIDENT of the state before running. Oz lives in New Jersey.

    2. I’m not with this “dual citizenship” crap. Or “multi-citizen.” They should have to decide which team they’re on and give up the rest.

  3. “The world is in more peril from those who tolerate evil or encourage evil than from those who actually commit it.” -Dr. Albert Einstein

  4. If it’s true that he voted in Turkey’s election but not in the US election, I think it’s fair to wonder why.

    1. Trump should go back to Russia.
Not that he was born there, but since when has reality had anything to do with Trump?

    2. @Deborah Freedman
True, but she has never tried to involve herself with Somalian politics. Maybe someone should ask Oz if he voted for the dictator. Wait! No point – he had himself declared “President for Life” and Trump thought it was great!

    3. @Алексей Андреев tough and stupid statement. Of course he would say something like that. Not surprised.

    4. All that plastic surgery must have confused him as to what country he was voting in.

  5. How’s it legal for Dr Oz to be legally allowed to get involved in the US government when he has dual citizenship and only votes in Turkey. Seems very un-American IMO.

    1. @Rafael Velez if you fail to understand why “Dr. OZ’s” dual-citizenship is in question and a substantive National-Security issue, do not waste my time.

    2. @Hapax Palindrome it is the potential of the subject becoming an “agent” and a “strong-agent” that is obviously in question and reinforced by a well established record of voting.

    3. @Hapax Palindrome Oh… I think I get it? This is a game and a game of Let’s Make a Deal and maybe Truth or Dare?

    4. @MIKAEL S1 Everyone, who is not already one, always has the potential to become an “agent.” Adding the word “potential” changes the whole argument, making it so all inclusive as to be a truly worthless point to make.

  6. It wouldn’t matter if it was Biden or Trump; we’re tired of attacking other countries unbidden. Afghanistan was one thing but Iraq was a clear mistake from the get go. Just because we’ve been doing it since Reagan (stop praising Reagan as the messiah for crying out loud) doesn’t mean we should keep doing it.

    1. Reagan wasn’t involved in any major wars. Some very minor scrapes here and there. Clinton was involved in more.

  7. No, I would NOT think it was a great idea for Biden to send a missile into Mexico. I’m getting sick of political idiocy. Time to start working at the local level and turn some red states blue.

    1. @pwk22 So basically we will be in some trouble because i can’t for the life of me, no matter what side of the ilse you walk on understand why anybody in their right mind want a person who thinks passing the Canadian cognitive test makes them a genius to run our great country.

  8. The drug problem in the US could probably be greatly mitigated if we took our own corruption seriously. How many of our plutocrats have their hand in it?

    1. Most seem to conveniently forget the role that the pharmaceutical companies played in the scourge of addiction in America. Just saying.🍺

    2. The drug problem will only be addressed when they do so as a medical and social problem. The only crime aspect is by quantity dealers, money laundering, and smugglers.

  9. Thank Scott Jennings for many of the woes of America today; Sr. advisor to Mitch McConnell it says something about Scott’s character.

    1. I feel like we need to pass on these videos featuring Scott. He’s comical in his absolute bullshit. He’s a joke and it’s an insult to our intelligence. Nothing he says makes any sense even in comparison to right wing talking points. I honestly think I’m done with cnn. We have options and degrading yourselves and us isn’t gonna work anymore. We can see that this is brainless in comparison to what is out there.

    2. @Mike Henningsen Very few republicans any network can have on that are not serial liars.

    1. Pomp is right, but more importantly he gave the Dems some ammo…Oz has some serious splainin to do, as he seems to have double allegiance!…..the Dems cant waste this good opportunity!

    2. I’m glad pompous is gone. He’ll never be in Our White House nor will trfufump ever be . #smh

    3. @Anth C now lets just see if the Dem’s jump on this tidbit of information with both feet. 🤔

    4. @Mad Maximilian yah…they should be on this like a fly on fresh crap….but i got a feeling they wont make the most of it….which is typical of them.

  10. I get that political pundits are going to argue their side. However, there’s a difference between sending military agents to engage in covert operations on the ground and firing missiles into a sovereign nation. This would have resulted in a declaration of war-by the way-a war with a country that shares a border with us.

  11. Let me get this starlight–Dr. Oz votes in Turkey election but NOT American elections and wants to sit in Representation? Such a comedic scenario worthy of the Marx Brothers,

    1. Do you have evidence that he didn’t vote here?
Pompeo isn’t a good source for accurate info. Do you have another?

    2. @ J Higgins

I did not know that the US president was in charge of the price of petrol (or gas as you say).

I thought it was a reflection of world markets.

      Is that incorrect?

  12. My great grandmother who lived till over 120 years old and passed away last year, my grandmother and my mother have always taught me and my siblings the power of karma. When trump attacked everyone from Obama and birther to Clinton to everyone else and he wasn’t expecting a huge return he must not be very intelligent. I mean yesterday it was his Secretary of defense saying he wanted to bomb Mexico like a real
Putin groupie, now his Secretary of State is against him, his own children went to court against, his niece and the list is growing, he is just destroying America’s image globally
and turning the US presidency into a clown show, he’s welcome to have just moved to Russia, but now it’s too late too many court cases. Also this guy talking about illegal drugs coming into the country. Well maybe people in the country should stop buying it. If there is no demand there will be no supply. So let’s blame the Mexicans less and find solid solutions. And before anyone brands me as a Latino. My name is Italian.

    1. You vote for a guy whose son bashed my face in as a kid when he was nearly 18 and off to military school. We got our own stories here to tell real horror stories.

  13. “We do this all the time” as if that’s a valid fucking argument against something that is illegal and wrong.

  14. I don’t hear enough from Van Jones. The man is a giant. We need our good guys right now to step up their efforts. We are on the brink.

  15. Scott is not dealing with one (of the many) real issues about Americans’ insatiable love for drugs. There are a lot of people that will try anything. Unfortunately, the drug cartels in Mexico, China, Colombia, and other countries know that. I think we need to at least start talking about why are we so addicted to shopping, caffeine, eating, alcohol, drugs, hoarding, etc…

    1. Because many people live in the moment. You can’t look into the future like we could in the 60s and 70s living today to build your tomorrow.

  16. I’m sorry, how is Pompeo not in prison? There should be a lot more said about this man, than just call him the Former Sec of State, and to talk about him as a news source.

  17. “Why not throw missiles into another country.. Nobody will know its us..”. Donald Trump wearing his shako from military school and waving his silver baton. A true military genius. Knows more than his generals.. And so bone spur brave.
