Why South Carolina Is The Ultimate Test For Bernie Sanders | Deadline | MSNBC

  1. MSNBC: “Second and Third in the first two Primaries are what reallly matter. And getting first in Nevada by a lanslide means nothing.”

Also MSNBC: “First place in South Carolina is all that matters.”

    1. @kay armstrong So you’ll just vote for more tax changes that disproportionately favor the rich and harm the poor long term?

I paid more taxes in 2019 than many of the most profitable corporations in the world will. I know people who were hurt by changes in the tax code because they got less back in their returns.

You are already paying taxes so lazy Americans can live for free. Those lazy Americans are billionaires.

    2. @kay armstrong Did you post all of that from your mom basement while high on meth???… That would be quite Impressive if I were a certified dog trainer! Bernie2020!!!🇺🇸

  2. How’s this the ultimate test? Even if Bernie doesn’t win, he’ll still come in 2nd. Then he’s dominating on Super Tuesday. This is more important to the other candidates than it is Bernie.

    1. @bidmcms3 LOL..like trump or biden or corporate republicans and/or democrats is for the middle class…brace yourself for another 500 billion dollar wall street bail out (the first of many) funded by the middle class within the next 2 weeks by the orange corona virus aka CONald trump..and every corporate democrat will vote for it…i’d have no problem paying more just to get rid of the evil insurance companies once and for all..the universal healthcare would just be a little bonus on top for me…

    1. MSNBC “if Bernie can’t turn water into wine, while walking on water, then his electability is questionable!” Give me a break! That old SELLOUT James Corn-Pop Clyburn, endorsed Joe Biden, even while Joe is more known for hurting Black People than helping Our Communities! I am a Proud Black Man in America, & Bernie Sanders is my Brother in the fight of justice & humanity! Bernie2020!!!🇺🇸

    1. Nichle – It appears that everyone on the internet is for Bernie, but most older people don’t post on social media, so there might be a bunch of Biden supporters that nobody sees. Bernie seems to have the younger voters, because he’s offering them free college, student debt cancellation and other freebies, which he would most likely never get passed through Congress. It still gets him votes from the younger crowd though. The older people that lived through the cold war when we were fighting the spread of marxist socialism, aren’t going to be buying Bernie’s ideology. I’m looking at it from an objective point of view, since I’m voting Trump. The Democratic party is definitely split.

    2. Nobody wants the communist party. Dems dont exist. They advocate the UN that is openly a communist dictatorship that is quoted saying they are against democracy and will use food as power against power.

  3. Notice how they say not huge turnout in Iowa and new hemp shire but forget to mention the large turnout in Nevada. Manufacturing consent.

    1. Lib. Soc. OK, there was lousy turnout in Iowa, especially compared to 2008, an election that went very well for Obama both in IA and nationally. There was excellent turnout in NH, so Rev. Sharpton was wrong to say there wasn’t, and I think he knew he was wrong because he said it under his breath. There was better turnout in Nevada, but still only 100,000 people voted, the vast majority not attending the caucuses at all, but voting early, when there are about 2,400,000 adults in NV. Bernie got lots more votes than the others, until you realize that “lots more” means 41,075, just 1,400 more than he got in 2016, though the population of Nevada is still increasing rapidly. The Democrat is going to need 600,000 votes to win Nevada in November, not 41,000. Turnout in Nevada would have looked a lot better if there had been a primary. Could we get rid of all caucuses and just let people vote, instead of concocting the most complicated process we can conceive of? The mess that caucuses have become just so local political operatives can have a vacation at the county convention and then the state convention to dole out delegates is not worth it.

    2. @Gnirol Namlerf You have omitted the important fact that in 2016, Bernie was running against ONE opponent… not seven. His numbers would be much higher in these caucuses and primaries, if the bottom-tier idiots would simply drop out and go home.

    3. “The world revolution which we will experience will be exclusively our affair and will rest in our hands. This revolution will tighten the Jewish domination over all other people.”

      – Le Peuple Juif, February 8, 1919.

“The governments of the peoples included in this world republic, with the aid of the victorious proletariat, all will fall without difficulty into Jewish hands. Private property will then be strangled by the Jewish directors, who will administer the state patrimony everywhere. Thus the promise of the Talmud will be fulfilled, that is, the promise that the Jews, at the arrival of the Messiah, will possess the key to the wealth of all the peoples of the earth.”

      – Baruch Levy, in a letter to Karl Marx, published in the Rothschild controlled La Revue de Paris, June 1, 1928.

    4. Poll said that biden would get 19-18% percent of vote in Lowa but many of his sported did not show up.. Only got 14%. It seems they arent that enthusiastic.

  4. MSNBC: “Historically strong conservative state who hasn’t voted Democrat in a General Election since 1976 is the ultimate test for Democratic Socialist Bernie Sanders.”
    Uhh, sure.

    1. Jack Cottington I’m not 100% sure on that but the references are below. It means in any given year, so yes many people will have paid in other years. That’s not the Bernie voter though. And many retired people still pay income tax on their retirement distributions. The point though is that, Bernie’s programs will be a tremendous burden on middle class taxpayers (we pay the bulk of total income taxes), so people who don’t contribute to that pool of resources should be mindful of that.

    2. @bidmcms3 Bernie has a diverse group of people backing him so I wouldn’t reduce that to a monolith, but again, income tax is also not the best measure of the effects of tax policy. There are dozens of other taxes that are at least as impactful.

    3. @bidmcms3 Personally, I’d love to see an AG Warren develop a more robust white-collar division to chase down those big tax cheats so they don’t put everything on what is left of the middle class. You could even threaten to make her the acting head of other agencies should they refuse to confirm her.

    4. @kay armstrong That’s a racist comment to think that all part of one race will vote a certain way. All white people didn’t vote for Trump in 2016. Are you saying that all Black people think the same way. Come on.

    1. @Johnte Price Lmfao. I just realized it’s a Warren supporter. Warren is one of the candidates that does WORST on minority voters. I also see you’re displeased with Sanders vote on the 1994 crime bill, however, you don’t seem to understand the history behind that bill. You can go back and read up on why he voted for it. He was an active challenger of the portion of the bill that was tough on crime, yet he voted for it because it INCLUDED a 10 year ban on assault weapons and it had the provision of the Violence Againsts Womens Act.

    2. Shezza so that’s an excuse for voting to agree with locking up black and brown people that has ruined many black and brown lives! His vote muted his whole speech!

    3. It’s the ultimate test for Joe Biden.
If Joe Biden doesn’t win in South Carolina, his campaign is quite literally over.
He would do well to drop out to save face.

    1. @Keith Hill He doesn’t have three mansions. Lol. He has two modest homes, and a place in DC, one of which looks almost like a shack.
His net worth is barely 2 million from writing a book after 2010, most of which is going to his grand children.
Nice try to make him look like a hypocrite.

    2. @Keith Hill Enough with the insults, if you have a different opinion then another, speak with respect, and provide your argument in a cordial way. No more insults, and name calling. This is America, we are better than that.

    1. @Keith Hill what’s the definition of “communist?” Hurry up & tell us before we all find out that your just some brainless troll sampling the likes of Right wing talking points… Hurry hur Oh oh oh… too late, we know your some right wing praising troll. Bernie2020!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  5. I would say it’s the ultimate test for Biden because if he loses its all over while 3 out 4 ain’t bad for Bernie

    1. But they have to make it seem like a big deal, the only way bernie wont win if the people who are the movement start losing hope

    1. @Keith Hill
I doubt they care, that’s what they said about unions in Nevada:/ Bernie crushed Nevada with 26% lead.

  6. If that one in California holds true to that poll and Bernie gets ALL of the delegates in Cali, that’s a massive deal.

    1. MSNBC “If Bernie Sanders can’t turn water into wine while walking on top of the water, that means Bernie electability could be questionable!” Give me a break MSNBC! Just calm down & prepare your greedy Network to pay your fair share of Taxes.👍 Bernie2020!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

    2. @Shirley Thomas Chill Shirley, speak with respect and understanding. This is an American conversation, and we will not stand for such childish speak. If you disagree with Trump, be better than him, and speak like an adult.

  7. *”Why South Carolina Is The Ultimate Test For Bernie Sanders | Deadline | MSNBC”*

Because S.C. has the most corrupt and biased voter fraud system in all of the states.

    1. MSNBC “If Bernie Sanders can’t turn water into wine, while…walking on water, then his electability could be questionable!” Bernie2020!!!🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  8. I really want to see Bernie steal this win from Joe Biden just so I can see the little bits of hope leave from these political hacks

    1. @Keith Hill Don’t worry, we have barely started on Donald. We have a few others to get rid of, then we’ll hit Donald.
